i feel anything can become and unhealthy addiction if too much focus is given to it
yes i am sure that there can be triggered endorphins even with religion ...
its that feel good factor isnt it ?
and when we want more of that to the extent that everything else becomes insignificant ... then it is time to take a step back from it

Of course it can trigger endorphins (as well as completely alter you brain chemistry) and I say this out of personal experience. I was addicted to drug for many years (clean 9 years) and severely depressed. Through spirituality I was able to change my brain chemistry and alleviate my depression to recover from (at least for today) my addiction. Just because I know I changed my brain chemistry through my beliefs doesn't mean what I believe is wrong, as a matter of fact I believe it is a good argument for adopting a new view if your old one is failing you.
As for it being addictive, maybe fanaticism is an indicator of it but I can't be certain without a clinical study and some science to support it. I know what addiction feels like and my spirituality isn't it.

I suppose it can become very addictive. Many people in this world need religion to help them through tough times and to pray for help and forgiveness, plus various other reasons. It is a very powerful tool for some and they wouldn't know what to do without it. This is good, not bad.
