It was a little girl singing, and it was really sad. I haven't heard it for years and was wondering if there is a website I could find it on.

The only thing I hate about Christmas is having to find a carpark in the Shopping Centres, having to wait in line for absolutely AGES to purchase a present and working in retail at ridiculously long hours. What do you people hate about Christmas?

Every hour, every minute, every nano second?

Was just wondering, because, whether I am having sex or not, it's like every other minute I am thinking about something HOT and/or erotic, and possibly to distatasteful to publish here...lol

So how often do you think about sex?

Ok, as some know, I'm Druid, and that I celebrate the holiday of Yule instead of Christmas. I have a couple of Lutheran family members who have been asking what I want for Christmas. I don't want to offend them and just say "Nothing, because I don't believe in it." So how should I go about handling this?

And for those few bible-pushing Christians out there, no, I don't want Jesus Christ. So don't even give me that as an answer here. I'm happy being a Druid, and nothing will ever change that.

I'm just looking for a kind and nice way to express to some Lutheran family members that I don't want anything for Christmas because my religion doesn't support it. Any help?

I have a teardrop shaped ornament that was made by my now deceased father back in the the late 1940's while he worked in the neon tube bending business. It is made of very thin glass, is quite delicate and is traditionally hung on the tree each year by yours truly. After Christmas is over, it'll be wrapped in bubblewrap to protect until next year. There used to be a half dozen of these in the family in three different colors ( red, yellow and blue ), but the rest have either been lost or broken. I have the only remaining ornament and it is one of the red ones. I consider it to be an heirloom and it is obviously a real treasure. Wish I could show you a picture!

Many people live with physical limitations that we can easily see. When we see those with such limitations, we know that they may require assistance or accommodation.
Many more suffer from limitations that are not visible. People often don't understand their needs. They see frustration in theirselfs and those around them, which leaves them discouraged.
Suffering that can scar our spirits: broken hearts, abusive relationships, divorce, death of someone dear to us, anger at God, disease eating away at our bodies. God does not abandon us during times of sufferinfg but offers the healing touch of love.

Loving God, thank you for coming to us with your healing touch-- when we ask and even when we don't. Amen.

May God's compassion touch you when in need:)

Especially right around Christmas. It's not the ACLU who changed Merry Christmas in the stores, it's the merchants. So why all the complaining about them?

this is my fav from my religion's book(quran)

Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursî.] (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

First off..i am NOT against welfare. I think it is necessary when hard times fall on any one of us. Especially if a person is going to college to try to better themselves. Do you think the welfare reform laws that went in to effect about 5 years ago are working?
Is it really being reformed??
