this is my fav from my religion's book(quran)

Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursî.] (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

Surah Ar-Rahman of Quran. 55th verse of the Holy Quran.

"He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.
And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.

Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? "

Al Salaam sister... This is MY favourite verse too... Learnt it while I was in Kindergarten ... hehe.. I recite it daily after prayers, before going to sleep, anytime I feel down or have some problem. Apart from this... Surah Al Rahman and Surah Al Waqi'a do wonders for me Alhamdulillah... Keep my spirits high!..

Salaam sunflower.....

I also love Ayatul Kursi. I have so many more than just one favorite. I also love 2:286. I remember coming across it during a low point in my life. I just laid there on my prayer rug and cried.

"On no soul does Allah place a burden greater than it has the strength to bear....."

assalamu' alaikum sunflower,
ayatul kursi is without a dobut one of the most beautiful verse of the Qur'an but if you look at there's no verse that is not amazing or beautiful!
I have many verses that i love.
The one that is amazing is no one mislead astray those who Allah guides and no one guide those whom Allah leaves astray.

May Allah guides us all!

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, unless it agrees with your own common sense.
