well its not its just only showing black musicians cause on rock shows don't they only show white people? yea they do and its just honering black people...whats wrong with that? probaly because it only shows black people. but they have to remember what they did to our ancestory and not just ours indians also-but i don't like BET anyways...

I didn't go to any links. So I don't know the original question but I don't understand why white people would think BET is racist because BET was sold to white investors perhaps 4 or 5 years ago so it's white folks doing the programming. You must think that we have this image of ourselves when really what you are looking at is the image of what white people think of black people. So since ya didn't know BET was white owned you were just a thinkin those damn black people how do they get a whole tv network didn't cha. lol

I THINK THAT ANYTHING WITH A RACIAL MENTION IS SETTING EVERYONE UP FOR A RACIAL CONFLICT. FOR EXAMPLE EVERYONE KNOWS THAT BET STANDS FOR BLACK ENTERTAINMENT. THEN THERE IS THE UNITED NEGROCOLLEGE FUND FOR UNDERPRIVILEDGED BLACK STUDENTS. IF ALL OF A SUDDEN SOMEONE CAME OUT AND ANNOUNCED A WPE(WHITE PEOPLE ENTERTAINMENT CHANNEL), OR A WHITE PERSONS COLLEGE FUND, WE WOULD HAVE HUGE RACIAL ISSUES. I BELIEVE THAT WE NEED TO LET THE SINS OF OUR FOREFATHERS DIE, AND GET ON WITH UNITED BONDING. LETS FACE IT, THERE IS REALLY NO SUCH THING AS A RACIALLY PURE HUMAN ANY MORE. EACH FAMILY HAS SOME TYPE OF OTHER ORGIN LOCATED SOMEWHERE IN THEIR FAMILY TREE. BET SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF CONTINUING ON WITH PREJUDICE.

1) I don't even like Bet that much.
2)I'm sure not every white person thinks it is racist.
3) Black Entertainment that says it all.They make it sound like only black people can watch it,and some people take that hard.

It is racist - if it was not, there would be a WET. Blacks are 6 percent of US population and make up over 50 percent of TV. They need to go away from white programs and stay on their channel.
