the main response was: that I just "pulled" these verses out of the bible
Dont you agree that the divinity of Jesus is made by just
"pulling verses" out of the bible
"Before Abraham was, I am"
"No one gets to The Father, but through me"
If Jesus is so power ful why did he cry to his father, pray to his father and say that he himself could do nothing.... it was in the hands of his Father?
Im not bashing the Christian religion. MY WHOLE family is christian.
My question? WHY do you all get so mad when I ask questions about your faith. Pull something out of the bible to defend yourselves. Why cant people discuss religion in a religious forum without throwing insults?

I'm doing a paper on Julian of Norwich's Revelations of Divine Love and I found it very interesting when she says she hopes that someday God lets her know why he let there be sin in the world. Not being Catholic, I was wondering if that's a common Catholic belief--that no one knows why God allows sin. Thanks!

The first chapter of the Gospel of John explains that Jesus is God. Jesus tells his apostles to baptist in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Matthew 28: 16-20
Jesus is the son of God, He is also God. The Holy Trinity, three persons, one God.

when does it cease to be ok to end the life of this "mass of tissue". In the third trimester? If the big toe is visible (I know babies are usually born headfirst, so d'nt bother correcting me) ? If the whole body is delivered except for the head can we kill it (partial-birth abortion)? If that's ok, how about maybe the first month after birth; after all, its still dependent on the mother.

I believe that the bible is not really meant to be taken literally, I feel that the writers of the bible gave us stories for us to teach us some morale values and stuff we should follow. people in the bible live for centuries...how many people in recorded reliable history have lived that long? Many people in the bible have experienced spectacular miracles, again...i see none in recorded history. but if u just take the morale of the story, for example, the ages of people in the bible could have just been used to exaggerate a story.

I have asked a couple of questions on believing in the existence of the Devil and some of the answers have gotten me thinking on the meaning of the Devils name.
For example Lucifer means light bringer, many people also have said that devil means challenger. What about beezelbub, and I know there are more out there I just can't think of them all right now.

We have the regular ones - like hauling out the same ornaments year after year - and the littlest family member putting the angel on the top of the tree. But - my sister - on Thanksgiving - positions the uncooked turkey in a stand-up position and makes it do a song and dance. She does it every year and everybody loves to see it. Do you have any odd Holiday traditions like that?

I see liberals referring to people from middle class to wealthy as greedy but defending the extremely wealthy celebrities. Aren't celebrities worse? With several hundred million dollar homes, vacation homes in the tropics, private jets, limosines, and servants, shouldn't they be the onse considered greedy?

I haven’t seen a lot of my father-in-law and his wife, since he doesn’t seem to like his son very much.They got issues.Last year I took my husband over to Germany for 2 month (Dec/Jan) and he met his in-laws for the first time.When we got back we tried to get together with his dad to tell him about the trip and give him souvenirs we bought. After trying for 2 weeks I send the souvenirs and we haven’t heard from them since.Now I receive an email from his fathers wife asking what we want for xmas and what day we want to get together to exchange gifts.The dates given to me where the 2nd,9th and 16th of December.(The 16th is my own birthday)I was very angry and replied that since we haven’t heard from them since our return and they showed no interest in our live, that we are not interested to spend Xmas with them. At first my hubby agreed with me,but after his stepsister send him a mean e-mail how I made her mom sad and nobody likes me anyway he changed his mind and is now mad at me.

Nostradamus also redicted a "fiery mountain", and Revelation talks about a
"fiery mountain". 2nd or 3rd Trumpet in Revelation I believe. Now this asteroid
is coming. It's supposed to barely miss us. But if the other catatrophe happens,
it could slow the Earth up enough to make the miss a hit!
