The words were created by people with political agendas to control discource. Not only does "phobia" imply fear, but also "irrational fear." One can defend dissaproving of homosexuality and perhaps seem sane, one cannot defend the irrational fear of homosexuals since it is - well- irrational.

Ah - the delusions one may create when one is in denial.

Let's talk about this in terms of something completely neutral... like... a tomato. Let's say you dislike tomatoes. Does that mean you think nobody else should like tomatoes? Do you go to tomato farms and destroy the crops and protest against the people who farm tomatoes?

It's not merely dislike of homosexuality that causes so many people to behave the way they do when it comes to that topic.

Continuing free_your_fancy's tomato analogy: If you dislike tomatoes, does it stem from a fear of tomatoes? Aaaaggghhhh!!!! The tomatoes are coming for me.
