That come from the same people are are whining about racism?

In the past few days, I have come across a lot of postings in which a minority poster has included me in the "group" of whites and then spewed theories about how "all" of us are...blah, blah, blah.

ALL of us? I absolutely resent that the same people who don't want to be categorized as a group (blacks) are so hypocritical to do that exact thing to me (a white). This applies not only to blacks and whites, but other races too.

I absolutely resent this behavior. These people claim whites are racist, won't look them in the eye, etc....that we are racist.

Blacks don't have the exclusive rights to call others racist you know. I think it's racist to be grouped into a group ignorantly.

like our traditions and phrases....we've been doing this for thousands of years...and if people dont like it or dont want to celebrate holidays then they shouldnt....i dont celebrate hannikah and its not my religion so i dont worry about it and i dont celebrate it...as simple as that...why would i try to change something people celebrate? i wouldnt... you have an opportunity..you dont need to celebrate....or you can.... have a early merry christmas everyone

I have been born and brought up in a pentecostal family. I have spoken in tounges several times. After several years I smoked cannabbis and I expereinced the same spirit and I started filling in holy spirit and spoke in tounges.

Do we not expereince some sort of orgasm when we fill in holyspirit?

All I want to do is meet a nice guy who will like me for who I am and enjoy going out and spending time together. I think friendship, not sex, should come first. I believe romance still exists. I want to care for that adoring boy who cares about me. I'm 21 and have never had a real boyfriend. I think I will be alone for the rest of my life. Maybe if I got an attitude and started being a jerk to people it would help. What do you think?

I have been a catholic my whole life, went to catholic school from pre-school all the way through high school. My grandparents prayed the rosary every night, and I dreaded it, although I admit it taught me discipline in my life. I went to church every Sunday like a normal person would.

Now that I'm an adult, I rarely go to church anymore. I just don't get that "spiritual" feeling when I go. The readings and homilies (sp) bore me.

I still have my own relationship with God, and I pray whenever I get the chance to. I find goodness in other things, like beautiful scenery, good-hearted people, etc.. I feel closer to him just driving around for an hour by myself, rather than going to church.

Is this wrong?

I have noticed that on any given day the majority of panhandlers are white male and look to be in good phisical shape and about 20 yrs old

I live in a city that is etremely multi cultural - Not a lt of blacks or Orientals begging for change and sleeping on sewer grates - A handfull of natives here and there but the vast majority I see are young white men .

Is it that way in your city ? Have you ever noticed homlessness and race ? What if anything does it mean and why is it so politically incorrect for me to point out the obvious ?

I would like to offer an apology to all the atheist out there for the ways some Christians are approaching your questions, with insults and stupid remarks.
It's Christians like them that make me sad to be a Chrisitan.
I hope all of you accept this. If not I still offer the apology.

I am truly sorry you have to put up with that trash from somepeople who claim to believe in a loving God.
God said "if you love Me you will obey My commands."

And one of His commands was to love another.

My nephew (a budding free thinker) put together a cool little 7th grade science fair project. He ran an experiment to see if Christian prayer was effective. He built a maze and had two different rats run the maze. During 50% of the runs he had Christian students in another room pray for the rat. The prayers started 2 minutes before the rat was released and continued until the rat finished running the maze. The control was identical except no one was praying for the rat. Whether or not the rat was prayed for was randomized by coin toss.

The results showed that prayer made no significant difference in how the rat ran the maze. (I don’t have the P value with me sorry).

So what’s wrong with god?

The bible HAS been edited through time. I don't care what the fundy's thnk, it's not in any kind of original form. Chapters removed & added, edits, translations, etc...

The "church" Jesus told Peter to found, is corrupt and evil. They hide pedophiles from the law, spread lies about condom use, and place men above women, closer to God. Not only that, but they convene every few hundred years to re-decide what they should preach.

Wouldn't god be more direct, and not associate our salvation with such loose and corrupt institutions and the church and the bible?
