Don't you just hate racial generalizations?

That come from the same people are are whining about racism?

In the past few days, I have come across a lot of postings in which a minority poster has included me in the "group" of whites and then spewed theories about how "all" of us are...blah, blah, blah.

ALL of us? I absolutely resent that the same people who don't want to be categorized as a group (blacks) are so hypocritical to do that exact thing to me (a white). This applies not only to blacks and whites, but other races too.

I absolutely resent this behavior. These people claim whites are racist, won't look them in the eye, etc....that we are racist.

Blacks don't have the exclusive rights to call others racist you know. I think it's racist to be grouped into a group ignorantly.

Notice....I say this applies to not only blacks but other races too.

And, I say that the same "PEOPLE" not race. I am talking about individuals who are black, not the entire black population....hence the word PEOPLE.

Generalizations irritate me in general. I am an individual - don't judge me simply due to my race, my religion, my gender, my looks, where I live/was born/grew up, or anything else. Get to know me before you judge me.

How Ironic. You're doing the same exact thing that you're complaining about. Not once through your posting did I see "some blacks". You just group us all together as (blacks). I've never said anything racist to any ethnicity so don't lump me together with those that do. See how ironic all of this is?

Racial generalizations suck, yes ... and those people shouldn't be grouping all white people together, but I can understand their anger. They have to deal with crap from white people all the time ... just like women have to put up with sexism all the time. So let them know that what they're doing is wrong - but realize that what you're feeling is exactly what they have to deal with - and they have to deal with it much more than you(and I)do as a racial majority....

I almost started to agree with you,but then I saw that you said black people generalize.Let me tell you something people generalize other people its not just black people.When I first saw this question I thought it would actually have a point.Anyway don't try and tell others how not to generalize people if you do it too.Geez you're worse than my sister.

stupid chick, the power structure in america is WHITE owned, blacks here in america have no real power. if white american wanted they could do us like the nazis did the jews. it's like 75% vesus 12%, what chance would blacks have against numbers like that? plus with the good ol boy network as prevalent as it is, whites want to turn around and call blacks racist?? what a joke.
