“As Americans, we have been turning a blind eye to some of the most serious threats to constitutional democracy, by ignoring or being dismissive of the truly extreme ideolologies being marketed under the guise of Christian entertainment.” [Ref:http://frederick-clarkson.streetprophets.com/]

The video game based on Tim LaHaye's best selling "Left Behind" novels, finally hit the shelves just in time for Christmas.

This is but one of a number of strong currents in American religious culture promoting an ideology of religious warfare.

Is the videogame "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" but a Fundamentalist Christian Evangelical attempt at cultural religious separation? Surprise, it appears that Principles, in that company that are involved
are "completed" Jews.

Regarding the games basic premise -- either convert or, eventually, be killed -- company president Jeffrey Frichner [ one of the “Completed” ] said, "The game is actually agnostic." there you have it Blame non-believers

I've heard people say that the cross points to the value of God's people.
I've heard others say that the cross reveals how much God hates sin and points to the wickedness of mankind.

Any Scripture to support one or both of these views?

Is it just me, or does it seem as if kids/teens are getting (excuse my choice or wording) skankier, sluttier, and whoreish by the second?! I've seen 10 year olds wearing a cakeload of makeup and strutting their undeveloped bodies around in their mini skirts and tube tops. What do you think may have caused this ? (media, etc)

I mean - screaming brats and trailer trash everywhere. The alternative, Target, is owned by the French. I guess you just can't win.

I here many GOTH's say they are trying to be an individual and not "follow the crown like a sheep". Is this true or a common misconception? If true what makes you think you are simply following a smaller crowd? and aren't just black sheep!

then why are most questions on here hateful, demeaning and offensive to blacks? I can't even remember answering a question about how " the white man is evil" yet I see a lot of " why do blacks act like monkeys?", " why do blacks steal our furniture?" blablala...
Oh, and another thing, the world does not revolve around black and white... get over yourself, really.

All of this bickering makes me study Gods Word more, and helps me to grow closer to Him as a Christan. God is simple to understand. Accept Jesus and choose to live a beter life through him and emulate Christs love. Its not brainwashing its something I choose to do. I don't have to change a thing, God gives me the desire to change and learn. I have studied Islam and understand true Islam more and I choose to be a Christan. No big deal its what I choose to do. Why do we have to make it so difficult.

...lowering myself below who I am; rather, being humble simply brings my arrogance in closer alignment to my insignificance without Christ. I don't think we comprehend the miserable depths to which sin has corrupted us in the eyes of Christ. I see my need for the Lord's grace more now than yesterday. Ever have one of those realizations?

I have already asked this but I need a bit more information. I don't mean to spam. I am a first time novelist writing a novel set in Lubbock, texas. It is about a spunky, rebellious 16-year old girl who falls in love with a quiet, artistic girl at her school. So my novel can be as realistic as possible, what is it like for gays and lesbians who live in Lubbock? From what I've heard it is a pretty conservative town. Are people there very religious? Is there a high incidence of violence against LGBT people? any information would be great. Thanks!

Not all the hate on this site, but those things that irritate and niggle.
Like people who gather on the pavement next to the pedestrian crossing. You don't know if they're waiting to cross the road or just having a chat.
