Yeah. When you realize that high self-esteem (pride) and low self-esteem are two side of the same coin. This lind of pride is thinking you are to great and the other think that you are not enough. At the end of the day it is still all about you. The best is having no self-esteem. In which you consider yourself honestly and then move on and refocus on the One who really matter GOD. So, yes I have had days like that.

ahhh...no.
And I must confess you lost me with the:
"being humble simply brings my arrogance in closer alignment to my insignificance without Christ."
statement.

No. I don't need anyone's grace, and I resent the christian church for all those years of telling me what a miserable person I was even though I am a good person. The best thing I ever did was to leave the christian church. And I have never regretted it.
Thanks.

I think that you are beginning to understand the Christ within you. A humble heart is a forgiving heart. A forgiving heart is a heavenly heart that lives within the gospel of Jesus Christ. God bless you, brother.

Uh....wasn't christ supposed to have not judged people for their sins, but to have helped them, as he would've helped anyone else?
I don't think that, IF he is watching over us, he is looking down in shame out our sins...although, maybe he should keep a closer eye on supposed "chrisitans" such as yourself.

Yes I have. Martin Luther King said that the greatest of those among us are those who serve. Being in service to humanity makes us great in god's eyes. I do not necessarily need to throw Jesus in there but whatever floats your boat.

We all have fallen short of our own spiritual goals but God loves us and is totally forgiving. This is an essential part of the experience of life and of our own soul growth during this lifetime. I know from your question that you will continue to fulfill in your own way the flowering of your own spirit in so that you may return to God as a spiritual being that is a wiser, kinder, more loving and in all other ways a closer representation of God who made us in his/her image.

i am happy that you have found this ... but this doesnt speak for all those who are humble , just your own perception of what humble is to you ...
as there are so many humble people who dont have Christ in their life
but whatever reason you have for being more humble ... its all good and needed

Jesus was humble. Was he insignificant without Christ?

One of the things we need to do, as Christians, is see that even though we can sin and be forgiven is that we should not sin. The total sacrafise that Jesus made was one that was horrific in nature. We should see our sins in the view of the cross.
