i went shopping on Black Friday and was very dissapointed. the sales weren't even that great, seems like they cut back on registers and this year i had to stand in line for over an hour to purchase my things. Normally i finish all my shopping in this day, this year i didn't. anyone else think that Black Friday was crappy this year?

Personally, I can see many huge, huge problems that could come of this. Saying "Eh, we don't have to worry about long terms plans to help the homeless or stop wars. Jesus will be here in a little while, just wait and let him clean it up."

My friend just lately told me that she was gay and liked me, and wanted to know if I would go out with her. I prefer guys but I'm the first person she told. If I say no, will this upset her and make her go back in the closet? I don't want her to just give up because of me, but do you think that this might happen?

My flatmate does it and its always full of breadcrumbs or marmite or something equaly disturbing. If he didn't want that much why take that much? Or just use the tiny bit of excess? He says its cos his parents were brought up in the 'crape on, scrape off' generation (ie - mid war rationing) so that's how he was brought up, but its really irritating. How do i stop him?

I watched the movie " the skeleton key" not too long ago and although a lot of it might be fiction but it does bring up a very interesting idea. That religion only affects a person when he belives in it. Otherwise it's "powers" is naught ?
