ok............................God in the old testament was a judging god. for example he gave mosos the law and he kicked adam and eve out of the garden of eden.he does this because he is angry and he alsolets the people of isreal get punished when they deserve it for example he made them lose to the philistines on purpose and he made them wander in the desert for fourty years when they listened to the eleven spies who said it is immposible to go to cannan. buit when god scolded them they went without his permission.
but god also is a loving god.....................the first promise of a savior comes when he finds out about the sin of adam and eve.he promises before he punishes........................he also let the country of isreal flourish when solomom and david were the kings ans it became the most powerful and influencial country in the world

What you're asking for is called "Old Testament Survey" in Bible college. It takes 13 weeks, with 3 hours of class room time each week. And, that's not counting home work. I'm sorry, but even if I had the time, I don't want 10 points that bad.

He is the Alpha and the Omega, Rose of Sharon, "Immanuel" (God with us) The Creator, the giver of life and He is Truth. He is God the Father, Holy Spirit, and Jesus known as the Trinity to us. He is merciful and kind, but He cannot be fooled, or fooled with!In the book of Ruth, the kinsman Redeemer was a man named Boaz. This is a characterization of who God is. He bought and paid for us, and provides all we need if we let him, whether we are "in need " or not! He fed Ruth when she was left alone by the death of her husband by providing an "employer" who allowed her to take all the food and provision that she needed. His son Jesus is our payment!
