My husband and I were married in September in PA. We live in MI and his family is from there, but I come from PA (family lives there still). My family follows some rules of etiquette that my husband's family disregards or does not think appropriate to follow, and in regards to this situation, I see where both families are coming from. Our families do not see much of one another because of the distance, but eventually we would like to have children and I want to clear this up before that happens.

Both sets of parents met on previous occasion. At the rehearsal and dinner, neither set talked to one another--same thing ALL through the wedding weekend. I went sure to thank EACH guest individually. My family hosted the wedding and even paid for the rehearsal dinner. Friend/Maid of Honor from affluent family says it was up to his family (visitors) to thank the hosts, but folks in Michigan think it's up to the hosts to make visitors feel welcome. I think all acted immature.

What should I do?

Jesus, the basis of Christianity, was supposed to have sacrificed his life.

Did you ever hear of a hero who sacrificed a life and was alive afterwards?

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Can Gods die?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and walked on Sunday, was he really dead and gone?

Besides Saturday what did Jesus sacrifice?

For every story of a "loving God" having miraculously saved some poor soul I can probably find ten true stories of OUTRIGHT innocent humans, men, women and children suffering a terrible injustice, these horrors(physical and not) sometimes beyond belief. I can accept anyone's belief in some divine force...but don't call it "loving".
"Faith" should not turn someone into a stupid human.

i mean its like CHRISTIANITY, OR ISLAM OR ANY OTHER RELIGION, its lke they're the only way to happiness. if it turns out that for exsmaple christinantiy, IF it turns out thats the real religeon, and i went to hevean and they said i cant go in coz i even though i tried to help people teh best i could, did alot of charity work (which im plannign to do, i'm not going to sit around doing nothing), i cant come in coz i wasnt a christian, then me i would trun around and walk straight to hell with my head held high, and that goes for any religion.

si mean its not as if one of the gods are here saying he/she the one true gods, or gods. if thats where u find peace in that religion then fine but i dont so stop trying to convert me, i dont care!!!!!!!

so if u dont go on preaching all the time saying thier religion right then thank u, but this is for those who always say thier religion is right.
