“who knows the bible truth?”
God knows it, while He has given us His word as a guide us, and the Holy Spirit to give us understanding.
Your first question was “1) where do we go when we die?”
Pray to the One True God the Father through His Son Jesus and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide you , then study the text listed below for your answers to the first question.
Where did the idea of an immortal life or soul first come from?
(Genesis 3:1-4)
The idea that sin does not deprive us of life came from Satan. That was his first lie which he has perpetuated since the Fall.
What is: (i) the wages of sin; and (ii) the gift of God through His Son?
(Romans 6:23)
Please notice that the wages of sin is the opposite of the gift of God. The former is good-bye to life while the later is eternal life.
Who only has natural immortality?
(1 Timothy 6:13-6)
Only God has natural immortality. And this He bestows as a gift only on those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.
What was Sodom and Gomorrah turned into as an example of the punishment of the wicked?
(2 Peter 2:6)
What happens to the soul that sins?
(Ezekiel 18:4, 20)
Here is a clear statement in Scripture that when a soul sins it will die. By the word soul the Bible means the whole of the person who sins will die. This is the wages of sin.
What happens to a person’s knowledge and feelings when he or she dies?
(Ecclesiastes 9:5,6)
In death all our thoughts and feelings come to an end. The Bible is clear that we cannot communicate with the dead. This too is a deception of the devil.
How did Christ describe the death of Lazarus to His disciples?
(John 11:11-14)
Lazarus was a believer who had died of illness. Jesus described his death as a sleep because Christians do not experience the eternal death.
Your second question is “2) who now rules the world?”
Well there are two views one states that Christ does and another states that satan does.
I hold to the view that satan does for the moment and Christ will after His Father makes his enemies His footstool Ps 110:1.
Isa 9:6 talks about Christ, however the governments have not yet been given unto him for He has not yet returned to get His people.
Your third question is “3) why does god let bad things happen?”
One could ask why did God the All knowing allow Eve to eat the fruit. The answer is thus; we all have a choice to make in our lives for God or against God.
Satan said that God is unfair, unloving etc. God is allowing satan to show that satans ways are better than Gods ways.
God has given us an example to follow His own dear Son. His life shows us how we are to live; most people are not following the example that has been given.
Also the Bible is full of prophesies that most churches today have so twisted and turned to fit their desires.
The prophesies have to be fulfilled and they have almost all been fulfilled, we are truly living in the last days.
Peace and Grace

I'm not a christian or choose to live my life by the bible, but if you do, then you'll know that...
1) When you die, your soul discontinues to live. You are in a eternal "sleep" until a "resurrection" of the dead.
2) Satan rules the world.
3) God allows bad things to happen because man disobeyed him in the garden of eden. So, pretty much, if you could blame anyone scripturally, it's them, not God. He allows suffering to continue until he steps in. Whenever the heck that is...

True Sandy, but you should also know that God is big enough to allow for different truths for different people.
There is no one truth that is applicable to all, nor would it even be something that a rational God would want.
God is much bigger than any one individual belief system.
To think any other way is to try to put limits on God and that never really works outside of ones delusions.

Where you go when you die is up to whom you chose to follow and obey while you were alive. Choose to accept Jesus as your savior, and your soul shall go to heaven with the Lord our God.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Refuse the free gift of salvation and reject Jesus as your savior, and your soul shall be tormented for eternitiy along with satan.
Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Right now satan rules this earth, until Jesus returns for His Chruch/bride.
God is a gentleman and will never force Himself on anyone. He will allow you to make your choices to go through this life on your own, and let you experience your failures. With out Jesus in your life and heart, all things shall be impossible to you. But once you accept Jesus as your savior, all things are possible through Christ our Lord!
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Does the above question(s) make a certain assumption?; The assumption being that man is equal to God.
Granted one of the test (in Christianity currently in the USA) makes the assumption; (test; is to see who abide by it)
Man does not have to 'know it all to serve God.

The True Founder of Christianity
The teachings of Paul, the true founder of Christianity, cannot be found anywhere in the teachings of Jesus or in those of prophets before him.
