Don't get me wrong. I know that there are some Americans who DO fit that description. However, there are also plenty of us who DON'T fit that description. I'm one of them, as a matter of fact. For one thing, I've ALWAYS hated Bush. (In fact, he didn't even win the majority of the popular vote in 2000.) I also enjoy learning about other cultures and other parts of the world. (I'm multilingual, as a matter of fact.) Although there may be some Americans out there who are ignorant brutes who think that their country is the center of the universe, please remember that not all of us are like that.

Ok so this year its very tight as far as $$$$ goes. We just purchased a home and we barely have any money to spend on things. I wanted to get my wife a nice present but not too expensive. Does anyone know where I can get a gift that looks like I paid $1,000,000 but not pay too much. (of course I am exaggerating but you get the point) Please let me know thanks again =)

Friends, Fresh Prince, Seinfeld. They are terrible, its just slapstick, they force feed you slapstick, and it makes me sick. Lets compare it to brit comedy; The Office, Trigger Happy Tv - NO COMPARISON!!

I always notice the words "ct" and "ckil" being used and I have no clue as to what it means! Can someone please enlighten me....Thanks! :)

I asked a question in this section last night about childhood influences on current beliefs, and some of the answerers seemed very certain of both their faith and its origin. So my question now is how? What is your personal proof that your beliefs are valid? I'm not out to criticize or judge, I just want to understand. Thanks.

I attend one of the few spirit filled churches in my area that operates in the gifts of the spirit. The other churches in the area believe that the gifts died out with the apostles. I operate in the gifts myself, but was wondering how many of you do or do not and what denomination are you if any? If you do not believe that the gifts are for us please tell me why you think this.

This is so unfair that it has to be made by some male who thinks he is worth that of two Women.......And Muslims you cant deny what is true (the males abuse Womens rights) Women need to stand up and fight .

See For YourSelf>>
God enjoins you about your children that a boy’s share is equal to that of two girls’. And, if there are only girls among the children and they are more than two, then they shall receive two-thirds of the inheritance, and, if there is only one girl, then her share is half. And if the deceased has children, then the parents shall inherit a sixth each, and if he has no children and only the parents are his heirs, then his mother shall receive a third, and if he has brothers and sisters, then the mother’s share is the same one-sixth after the payment of any legacies he may have bequeathed and after discharging any debts he may have left behind. „

I found this from another question its nice an american who actually isn't arrogant and is nice

Unfortunately, I think that English people have the stereotype of being boring and ordinary because of the way they are portrayed in American TV and film. Visit England and you'll find that they are anything but. My husband and I visited for ten days in 1997 and every person we met was friendly and welcoming. In many ways, I think Americans are more uptight than the British. Think of it this way...the British have their neighborhood pubs, where families actually are actually welcome. We still have issues, laws, and regulations about alcohol, despite having one of the highest alcoholism rates in the world. The British have a free health care system and reproductive rights, while here in America we still have huge debates about abortion rights, and no national health care system to take care of those who need it most. Plus, the British sense of humor is so much wittier and genuinely funny than America's, where we rely on slapstick comedy to get laughs (like the movie, Jackass, for example). I'd love to live in England for a while, just waiting for someone to send me a plane ticket!
