Pregnancy in a dream often means "new beginnings". It doesn't mean that you will physically become pregnant but it can mean new beginnings in any area of your life. Ex. New job, new relationship etc.

If you are curious about the dream then perhaps you are open to messages from the subconscious or even the spiritual world?
I would interpret the dream as meaning (and this is a hunch and probably way off the mark) you are in a relationship that has cooled this past few months/years. You are not sure whether to end it but deep down feel it is not the long term love you dream of. The dream may also suggest that you are still mourning the loss of someone when you thought you had gotten over the bereavement. Also, perhaps a close friend is taking on a new adventure (perhaps going abroad to do so) and this has triggered some deep rooted insecurities?

If it happened in a dream then it's probably nothing more than a dream.I've had a dream like that before and the best thing I can tell u to do is take a pregnancy test just to be safe.If u r pregnant u don't want to find out the hard way.
Good luck,I hope everything works out.

Pregnancy or birth in dreams signify new beginnings or projects in the making. By dreaming you were pregnant means that you have a project to get off the ground, it is there for you if you want to do it. It can also mean that something new is around the corner, you just need to give 'birth' to it.

Possible Meanings
You can’t be half pregnant. It’s all or nothing. Therefore, dreaming of pregnancy signifies commitment to a situation. If you dream you’re pregnant, ask yourself if it’s wish fulfilment. Are you hoping to get pregnant? Or does it symbolize a desire to give birth to a creative project? How you feel about the pregnancy will help you determine how you feel about the project. The pregnancy may also represent an aspect of yourself that you hope to give birth to. Look at where you are and whom you’re with in the dream to determine what aspect this may be.Pregnancy is also a symbol of opportunity. Are new opportunities presenting themselves in your life? Or if you dream that someone else is pregnant, do you feel that it represents a new opportunity opening up in your life?

In Appalachia, it is said when you dream of birth it means someone is going to die. Likewise, when you dream of death, someone is about to born. I would think pregnancy would mean the death process is starting for someone . . . could be some slower, yet fatal disease.
Sorry, it would not be more positive.

well when you have a dream of somthing-it normally come true-but not exactly-it comes a step lower.
e.g-if someone has ran-away from your home for ever, you had a dream that person came back home-but what happens is its a lower step,so he/she might hav called you on the phone.

According to my book of interpretations it can mean you are pregnant, you want to be pregnant, or you are a man trapped in a woman's body.
