Why is it only people who attend a 4 year college can pledge a Black Sorority or Fraternity?

I have attended a 2 year college and had alot of my classmates ask why we couldn't have Sororities and Fratenities. Also do you have to have attended a 4 yr college (university) to pledge a Grad Chapter?

Yes you must have attained a degree from a 4 year colleg or university to be a member of any NPHC sororities. For more specifics on the WHY aspect of your question please contact the national headquarters of the particular sorority in which you wish to have membership in.
