Do you use your childhood as an excuse or a motivator for your choices as an adult?
Is it an excuse to stand still or a motivator for change?

Your childhood is what creates the person you are. Some people use it as a motivator,some people depend on the excuse. Once again, the child could learn from his parents that blame THEIR childhood. I think everyone should change for the better.

Happily I have resolved all the issues of my childhood. It was hard work and took years. I seldom think of it now except to remember the good times.

had several childhood memories which were wonderful but suffered a serious illness and this is so destructive to my happy memories have tried to deliberately block them from my mind. although I have tried to use these experiences to help others survive the same trauma

Mav is very wise. And pretty.

I used to do that. Then after I came to Christ and realized I had my OWN sin to deal with, it took my mind off my parents sins and I was able to move forward.

actualy i hate dwelling on my childhood,i was such a mean and hateful person,but i do try to prevent my children from making the same stupid mistakes that i made,so i guess its not that bad,as long as we learn from our mistakes
