I need some extra help this year to find a few things that my 16 year old son would like! He did give me a list BUT I like to get a few things NOT on his list so he is surprised! I did get him a PS3- stood in line FOREVER and games for that. What do u think he would like?

I know two kids, they are not even 10 years old, and they are pretty much obese. They might be considered morbidly obese. They get little to no exercise, and their eating habits are very poor. Mom lets them drink a lot of sodas and high fat foods. I have watched these kids eat, and they eat without really focusing on the food, so they are stuffing themselves mindlessly. I think about these kids' health and body image in the future and it's sickening. What is wrong with people?!

I was wondering...did you hit a Thanksgiving sale today, if so, where did you shop, what did you buy, if it was for yourself or for a gift, and how early did you go? Just curious. I went to Kohls for clothing items for myself as I had most of my Christmas shopping done already and went about 8am. Lines were moving pretty smoothly though parking was horrible.

I started a new job today, and I do have experience but it has been 5 years since I've done something like it. I got overwhelmed and told the boss that I was feeling nervous and didn't know what to do, so he fired me. He said if I feel that way then I will probably end up quitting and he don't want people thinking he can't keep help. Am I just really stupid and not able to keep a job, or was he wrong for handling it that way?

also i translate to numbers based on a=1...
So God=G+o+d=7+15+4=26=2+6=8=H
in this way i understand what other writters of the bible meant.
ex. God glorifies HIMSELF in HIM thus also IN HIMSELF this means God was summed up to H like i showed YOU.
this means HIM=GODIM=GODIIVIsealed together
HIMSELF=GODIIVIselaed togetherSE LF ie see the LFT ARM of LARRY TODD S.
some how those writters describe Me and My Arm as GOD.

i consider myself a biblical scholar because i have actually sat through a whole reading of the good news bible and many other versions. i was once nominated for validictorian and graduated college with honours in civil engineering technology but circa 2001 i was reminded of my mortallity and the other bible folk so i decided i wanted to write a book about it.

To all Christians/branches of Christianity/anyone who believes in the Bible:

We all know the story of "God created everything that exists (except dinosaur bones) in seven days" but... uh, why?

Why do you think that God runs on days? Why would an allpowerful being be bound by the length of time it takes our planet to spin around once? Wouldn't he have existed BEFORE a day did, and didn't a day only come into being after he made the heavens and the earth and that stuff? Totally illogical. I mean, if people would admit that maybe one of God's days isn't the same as one of our days, I could totally accept that, but otherwise it's pretty much ridiculous. If you can explain it so it's NOT ridiculous I'd appreciate it.
