Creation is much easier for me to believe. To suggest the big bang is to imply that it all happened by happenstance. But I gotta tell ya that happenstance cannot produce the perfections required for everything to be just right and that all is as it needs to be to put together such a fabulous Earth and Universe, and that it continues to stay intact. If the earth was off just one degrees in it's rotation and orbit, the outcome could be horrendous. I don't believe we are just a happy people floating out here in space for nothing. Nor did I evolve from a monkey. But there is a Almighty God whose power is unmatchable and He is too great to even verbally try to descibe His infinite wisdom and intelligence.

You asked, "Which is smarter to assume?" The Bible says that God will use the foolishness of man to confound the wise. I will expound on your question and say my answer is this: It is both smarter and wiser to Assume AND Believe that the Earth and the Universe is here due to creation. The answer to your question is a definite no-brainer in that it was created and it was created by The Almighty Jehovah God! I hope this helps. PEACE!!!

Simply because we have ways to prove that the big bang happened and scientist have actually viewed the evidence with there eyes. The bible cant be proved only believed. Since everything we know about every thing is a result of science I'm gonna agree with the scientist.

Well, a "big bang" sounds a lot like God spoke and the universe leaped into existence doesn't it? Of course if you are a big bang fan then you are still left with the question of where did the matter and energy come from to cause that "bang". Also you have to throw out all of the laws of statistical probability to explain the existence of the earth in relation to the sun and the moon and the earth having the perfect chemical composition for life to exist here.

its never smart to assume, and when you think about it, its the same. the big bang was a creation. there has been and still is an evolution. that cant be disputed. why would this universe be any different than any other. science vs. religion, and no one really understands either of them. they think they do tho.

The Big Bang Theory Confirmed*
[21:30] Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?

[21:31] And we placed on earth stabilizers, lest it tumbles with them, and we placed straight roads therein, that they may be guided.

[21:32] And we rendered the sky a guarded ceiling. Yet, they are totally oblivious to all the portents therein.

[21:33] And He is the One who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in its own orbit.

[21:34] We never decreed immortality for anyone before you; should you die, are they immortal?

[21:35] Every soul will taste death, after we put you to the test through adversity and prosperity, then to us you ultimately return.

whats smarter is to know that the "BIG BANG" was the big God releasing his creation into manifestation, where it is still in the process of expanding and evolving into creation. the facts of evolution prove God is still at work on his creation..

In my opinion, there is a creator that created the all and the everything. The big bang theory is part of God's creation.

The more we discover through science, research, and life experience.....the more we are discovering about what God has already designed.

The smart one would examine the evidence and come to the proper conclusion. Remember, science is open minded. If something about current theory is found to be wrong science isn't too arrogant to correct itself... unlike a certain book we all know of.

at least the big bank has been tweaked alot by scientists and they have some data behind their theory...as for me, the universe is being carried around by a gigantic tortise and the stars are either Gods or the cast of Gilligans Island

What's smarter... to believe in an omnipotent omnicient god that control everything? Or to trust in the basics of science? One is belief, the other is fact. I'll take fact over belief any day. And your god isn't fact.
