sorry if this question offends any one, but i'm about to lose my faith as a christian and i need your help here.
i understand why Jesus died and washed away the sins of humanity. and i understand the need for being born again. but when i read this verse it makes me wonder!!! even those who are born again and work sicerely for the Lord are in vain. look,
in Matthew Chapter 7 it says,

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

so even those who work hard for the Lord could not enter the kingdom of heaven.

had a dream where something has happened only to find it to be true in the morning?
i had dream last nyt in which my sister burned my hand and in the morning when i woke up my hand was hurting and i now have a scar on my hand where my sister burnt it in my dream.

I see a lot of kids in bars don't think they belong there. It seems that I am in the minority. People say "they are not bars, they are restaurants." I know better though. I see a lot of kids in places where a lot of power drinking is going on. The management/owners put in baby changing stations, but that does'nt make it Disneyland. I see a lot of two fisted drinkers in a lot of bars (I know cause I am one of them). I think this is a potential explosive situation. There are a lot of fights in bars n'est pas?

Does anyone have a personal superstition that no one else seems to have? For example, Matt Dillon's character in "Drugstore Cowboy" believed that a hat on a bed was bad luck.

Oh dear I would like to know why on earth people posting questions and are not being open to criticism, all the want is for the participants to say yes. One example is Azra, asking questions with threats to report. Why ask if you cannot digest the opinion of others.

What do you think? Bash me if you want but I don't wanna be threaten with report. This is an open forum so be it. Don't you agree?

I live my life within the confines of the 10 commandments but as yet have not found a religion that supports the same ideas.

I cannot stand profiteering so that eliminates most of them.

Maybe buddhism could be the way?

A lot of people act like they do, but I don't know if it could possibly be true. I wonder if people convince themselves of this when they really know they're settling. It seems like a lot of people think it would take too much time to find what they really want (or even figure out what they want), so they make exceptions (sexual partner, place to live, job, etc.).
