OH MI GOD!!! It wasn't your sister!!! you're simply the next dragonrider and it's your dragon who gave you this mark so that the good guys can recognise you!!! you are the chosen one!! bless me!!!
Joking aside, this is freakish. are you sure you were dreaming?

It's a well known fact that the mind will incorporate events happening in the real world into dreams when you sleep. On a school trip long time ago a friend of mine decided to make water noises as another mate slept in the bunk above. At breakfast the next morning he complained of having dreamt of the ocean all night and woke repeatedly to go pee.
There have been loads of instances like this, the time during sleep is when the brain complies and organises all the stimulus it's revieved during the day. The brain is exceptionally at this and can fit a whole day into less than six hours, but if you add stimulus during this time the brain has no choice but to add that too.

Never had that happen, though if I did get hurt or were running in a dream my legs would hurt from all the strain or where ever I was hurt would be in pain in the morning. Though I've never gotten a scar or any mark indicating that it really happened. I have dreamed about things that I see later in life or even that week. It used to trip my parents out when we'd walk into somewhere and I knew what was going to happen. Lol... It was fun though.

Weird!!! Don't think anything like that has happened to me-though I do tend to dream things that do actually happen later the next day.

So your dream happened because your hand began to hurt in your sleep. You had not noticed you burned it yourself while cooking because you had been somewhat anesthetized by the drink or two you had while cooking.

No surreal experience there. It will heal.

Its not freaky.
You probably dreamed that the same time your sister was er...burning you. Because you are half awake, you think what you feel is in your dreams.

Cool I don't believe such an occurrence has ever happened to me. But it still sounds pretty cool though.
