Does anyone have a personal superstition that no one else seems to have? For example, Matt Dillon's character in "Drugstore Cowboy" believed that a hat on a bed was bad luck.
Please no cliched superstitions like black cats, broken mirrors, etc...

My mom told me if I happen to jump over someone sitting on the floor while having my period... They will lose hair.

I did up until recently, I never used to sit in the window seat on a plane, as a thought something bad would happen (i.e crash), however on the way home from Prague, there was any empty row of seats where I could get some sleep, so I ended up sitting in the window seat so I could rest against the window - needless to say, nothing bad happened!

As a child I used to avoid stepping in other peoples shadows. I would actually jump over their shadow while walking down the street.

feel better if I carry some token and/or remembrance of a loved one with me whenever I go anywhere. makes me feel comforted to know they are always with me no matter what the situation
