Speak more slowly so that you have time to swallow.
If you spray the person in front of you, apologize and then make a point in turning your face away to talk to them.
Good luck.

I'm sorry, but that's quite funny :) I wear braces so the position of my teeth and my general bite change often. Sometimes, I'm in this really spitty stage, sometimes i'm drooly in bed, sometimes, i'm normal. You should consult with an orthodontist and check if something's wrong with the way your teeth are set :) In the meantime, just apologize and try not to get away with it. Not only is it hard, but it's very insulting to the other person, like you don't care if you spit on him!

Spit happens! The hard part is deciding if you should wipe the spit off the person's face or let it evaporate on it's own.

I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but how are your teeth? Did you ever have braces? I've noticed that people who happen to have that same problem may not have very straight teeth and spit can actually fit through any gaps. Have you talked to your dentist? He may have an answer for ya.
Good luck!

You are standing too close to the person and you are talking to fast and too much. Try standing further and talk slower and less.

Stop speaking so fast, and swallow between sentences!
It happens to us all, usually for me when I've had a few beers!
