Got any ideas of things in the supernatural world that I could use for my screenplay?

My dad came up with a great idea that all kids imaginary friends are really actually ghosts or similar spirits and that as they grew up, they lost the ability to see them and thus dismissed them as 'imaginary friends'. But a babysitter would somehow realize the truth and have to deal with it.
I doubt he'll ever write it, so that's why I'm telling you- but seriously, why not come up with your own original idea?

I absolutely love ghost stories. To get some ideas, maybe look at ghost stories in New Orleans and nearby in Louisiana. The Myrtles Plantation has a verrry creepy story. I think ghost stories with a bit of possession are especially scary. Say someone moves to their dream house, creepy things start happening that parallel something that happened earlier...it has been done, but it's all in the details. You could use some stories from www.themoonlitroad.com as a jumping off point. Extra spooky points for bringing kids into the story. There's nothing creepier than when an innocent child starts noticing things and inadvertantly creeps out her parents...Have fun!

I like ghosts but there have never really been stories on real life ghost experiences.
Research real ghost stories. There are many.
If done properly they will be scarier than the Hollywood versions. And can be very successful.
I believe this firmly as I have had a few experiences myself.

i would make a story were some how people or scientists developed a way to die see the after life what that is who knows but could work into the show then return to discuss lifes meaning after being witness to what is next ..if god will allow ..that would be remarkable and ground breaking for sure .....i dont know hat im talking about but mayb u will like
