Sorry to burst your bubble but. I sit facing west at my desk so when I write my hand moves from south to the north.
That does not mean I worship the north star or the North pole or Santa Clause......

English is written from left to right, as another said, its not always possible to face north when you write, but since the world is round, it is possible to get there from anywhere, just as its possible to get here from every direction. You think God is awesome because the world is round? Ahhh, well awesome.
