Some of what you are doing is akin to the Gematria, which is the Jewish numerology system. In Hebrew, every letter is also a number, and therefore, every word can have a numerical value. There are all kinds of ways one can interpret with this method. For example, Chai (Life) = 18. So 18 is considered a very auspicious number, and Jews often donate to charities in increments of 18.

The problem with this I think, is that you can make a verse mean almost anything you want it to mean. There will be other words that equal the same number, and some of them will be opposites. So what can you really prove? Basically, anything, and thus, nothing.

The Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek. If there is any "accidental" meaning to the letters, I would think they would be only meaningful in their original languages. Not in the translation done by humans into English, or any other language.

But if this method helps your spiritual path, then more power to you. But just be careful that it does not lead you to believe in something questionable or harmful.
