Depends. Are we talking about Almighty God or are we talking about gods like buddha or vishnu.
If..... we are talking about these gods who were once humans and they somehow became gods .... then there is a beginning and an end on this earth.
If..... we are talking about physical, material or natural things, there surely must be an end because law has it that all of these things has to be decayed.
If..... we are basing on this assumption, then there would be no end to this theory. Where did Big Bang come from? It came from an explosion? Where did the explosion come from?It came from a build up of energy that spirals out ward in the universe. Where did the energy come from? .... and on and on...the questions can go.. never ending. Therefore though it may sound logical in the beginning, it is never a good premises to say that there is a beginning to everything.
If..... we are not Christians or Muslims*, then we should define the word God before we can make a statement. So "God" is define as a supernatural, all powerful, all knowing being or entity that humans worship. Therefore by that definition alone God is supposed to be super- natural. That means above the natural or beyond the natural limitations of the physical law. Therefore by this definition, God is beyond time and space and every natural law that is percieved by man. So there would be without a beginning and an end as this is only a limitation in the natural order. Thus, we can say that God is without a beginning and an end.
*Note: In this aspect, Muslims believe the same as Christians.
If.....we are Christians, then we need to highlight 2 of His many attributes. The first is that He is eternal. That can be found in Deuteronomy 33:27. That means there is no beginning and no end. Psalms 90:2 tells us that he is from everlasting to everlasting. No one give God Almighty eternity, God is eternity. He is not limited by time. He is timeless. The second attribute we should know in regards to this question is that God is self existent. The verse for this is John 5:26. That means that God Almighty has life in himself. No one need to give Him life. He does not need to depend on others to have life, God is the source of all life.Therefor God has no beginning nor end because He is eternal and He is self existent.
If.....we are Muslims, God do not have a beginning nor an end because He is God Almighty or Allah which means the almighty God, creator of all things. Otherwise He is not God.
If.... we are atheist, we do not believe in God so it would be hard to reconcile the natural and the supernatuaral because we do not believe in the supernatural(God). This would be an unanswered question and an enigma or mystery. Or just simply not a question.
If.....we want to know the truth, we cannot confine it to our limited understanding. There might be things that might be beyond our comphrehension. Hope this helps.

That is the million dollar question ..... If you take common sense and look at the mechanics of time and Universe you would have to ask who created God ? was it another superior God ? if God exist as is thought out then some one had to create him , don't you think?, So you will receive 100 and one responses , and of course when there is no solution, the answer will be faith , God just exists .... In my view God doesn't exist as a living form the way is depicted in religions , I see God as the essence of every thing in existence , God is the inexplicable being or " IT " It is the deepest pure love in our hearts , God is the unencumbered force of Nature and the Universe , I supposed people need to feel God as a being ,seating on a throne made of gold and diamonds , in a luxurious haven giving judgments to the poor souls that were good or committed a sin , and giving judgement over the life of a mear 80 to hundred years of a human life , what is this in the eternal time of the universe?? well they want to believe in God in their own terms .., Bur in reality God is every thing in the Universe, is huge is the force of every thing , so it has existed forever before and will be for ever ahead . Nothig started God it just is .

I believe the following:
Before time, space, and all the things that make up our reality even existed, there was a being that we'll call God. It was everything and nothing, a perfect void, total stasis. A finite amount of energy, but so much that it may as well have been infinite.
Eventually this God (who, because it was made of everything, included sentience, so it was self-aware) became either bored or curious or just wanted to change its static, flat existence. It sacrificed its sentience and its 'body' (aka all the material that exists) to become reality as we know it. This could be described as the Big Bang.
Today everything that exists IS a part of God - you, me, the air you're breathing and the computer you're looking at. It no longer exists as a single sentient entity. Everything that was a part of God's sentience became OUR sentience, our conscious thought. So therefore, when we go through life (repeatedly, as I'm convinced one time just doesn't do the trick) we learn, evolve, become closer to enlightenment and comprehension of God. Eventually all the 'souls' or fragments of God's consciousness will become purified and enlightened through the process of living and suffering and loving, and we'll all be part of God, and the universe will cease to exist, and God will be static again.
Thus does our world exist.

not true. humans simply cannot comprehend that time is man made and has no beginning just like the universe is endless. we need to put a 'ceiling' on our thinking. an end. finite stuff. but if time had no beginning, why must god, if there is a god? we also think that things must be created, so who was god's creator? that again is human thinking and we need to realize that which cannot be known with our brains doesn't mean it cannot be. oh, by the way, i'm an atheist, but i cannot negate the fact that god may have always been here, just like the stuff that makes up our matter.

God started b efore the creation of the universe. If anyone could answer this question as to where God came from then they would perhaps know more than God and anybody else. This part of your question remains a mystery to mankind.

According to YOUR logic and understanding, there is a beginning and ending to everything and God had to come from somewhere. But God transcends human rationale.
Blessed Be

You assume there is a beginning and an end to everything. There is no proof of that.
Even the Big Bang Theory has no practical beginning. Where did all the matter and energy of our universe come from?

There is a beginning and an end to everything FINITE. Jehovah God is infinite; had no beginning and has no end. As finite humans, infinity is difficult for us to fathom, but there it is! ( Faith allows us to believe as truth something that we cannot PROVE as truth.)

Assuming that your human based logic is correct that would be knowledge that is beyond our scope in this world. All will be revealed in its proper time. Trust in the Lord
