The only two religions that teach close to the same God is Judaism and Christianity. All others are vastly different and contradictory. Since they oppose each other-they all can not be the correct one. So, only one can be right. The trick is-which one? We must compare and choose-and hope we are right. Fortunately for people in the western countries, we have the "freedom" and the "resources" to check them "all" out. I personally know a man with 2 doctoral degrees in religion, a D.Min, and a Ph.D. He is an Arab. He is convinced that Christianity is the correct one. I too believe that Christianity is the correct one. I have 2 degrees also in religion, but not a doctorate. I understand that most people in the world do not have a chance to compare religions, or the resources either. Some would have to forfeit their life to change-this is sad. Christian missionaries give their lives to help other people learn about Jesus. They do not do this to raise an army or to overthrow a government, they do it to save lives only. This one fact alone should make people all over the world at least want to examine a religion that cared so much for them that they would die to bring it to them. This is one reason I think my religion is right.

The true religion would be violence free. Reading Genesis 6:before the flood God destroyed the people because they were so violent. Genesis 18:20 he destroyed Sodom and Gamorrah because they were homosexuals.
Then he had Joshua destroy those nations because they were sex worshippers. Had many God's and Lord's. Don't worship the creation rather than the creator. Like cows and other humans and rivers such as the nile or homeland.
Then the 10 commandments Don't lie, steal, adultry and honor your parents. !Cor 6:9 adds greedy people and drunkards to the list. So I think that includes anyone who harms his body like drugs. Do they celebrate pagan customs knowing it is wrong?
Knowing that God destroyed nations because of those same pagan customs. Does your religion have unity? Or when a war is called do they kill each other? Because the homeland comes first? There is a lot of things to consider before decideing that your right. Going back over why did he destroy them before is a start. I don't think God ever wanted his people to fight.

There are TWO questions here:
1. Who is the right God?, and
2. What is the path to Him?
There is a possibility that we may be worshiping the true God.
The second question, though, is more problematic. Of course, I believe the path I am following is the only right way; you may believe the same about the path your are following.

Nearly every religious conviction imaginable would consider itself exclusive. In other words, the Christian thinks the non-Christians are wrong, but the Atheists think all religions are wrong. Its just the way things are. Certainly, though, we may all (meaning every religious view) may be wrong, but there is no way we are all right. So long as no one is forcing their beliefs by force, or keeping other people from maintaining their own beliefs, who cares if one person thinks another person will go to hell or if another person thinks everyone will just see blackness after death. Frankly we are all believing whatever religious view has been most clearly revealed to us, and pointing fingers and calling someone superstitious or narrow-minded wont change anything, at least not in a positive way.

What I believe is my personal commitment. What others believe is their personal commitment. I have no right to judge rather they are right or wrong and they have no right to judge me. I our Gods and Goddesses are the same, will it really matter in this or any other life? I say no.

Many religions are true. My personal preference is for a Protestant one.
But ...
stay away from the cults! They are the ones that try to control and lead you into harmful behaviors!

no i dont believe my religion to be the only true one ...
i believe that as humans we all have different needs and different understandings ...
that one mans truth would not be anothers ... it would be illogical
i feel that everyone has elements of truth and one religion is as good as the next if it helps the person live a good life and teaches love and tollerance
by the same respect i have admiration for the agnostic and atheist who have came to their own logical choice
