I say hello ,hey,.. something at work - they look at me like im crazy! this is in Chicago by the way at the #1 hospital (begins with University. ) rude !!

Some branches of Christianity have encompassed the seemingly at-odds theories of evolution and creationism by saying that God started the process of evolution and thus both things are not necessarily conflicting. If the bible states that man was created in His image, then how exactly does that account for our development into what we are or what we will be? Were we in his image in our earlier stages of development, or are we aspiring and evolving into something that in the millenia to come will be Godlike? Are future generations closer to or further from God?
Just trying to look at this from another angle.

If you had the option, would you send people to hell because they did not live as you commanded? Would you let anyone into heaven that tried to live a good life, or would you make them use their free will to do what you desired? Why?

Let's face it, whenever you see a group of Black people getting close, people get scared. Also, everyone is always scared of offending Black people...why? It's like you're stepping on eggshells everytime you get close to or start talking with a Black person...it seems like a lot of Blacks think anything and everything can be construed as racism! Does anyone else notice this?

Sorry everyone, this is just a quick note, I cant contact ♥myboys any other way.

You just emailed me to say that 90% of the States and Canada believe in God, thats all very well, but you jumped to the wrong conclusion I'm not in either of those countries.

Only 22% of the country believe in God, some were undecided and 55% dont believe in anything! (The UK btw) Or so the last set of statistics (whether you believe them or not) said... that I saw anyway!

Just wanted to clear that up.

My goal is to convince this country that God is fake. I think it's possible. All we need to do is concentrate on the schools.

There are alot of ads that companies collect your old cars and donate it or the money to charity.. Has anyone ever received a car? Or money from a charity that actually collected the cars? how does it work? what state? how did you get in contact with that charity? did you get a decent car?

A day or so ago, I posted a question asking if those who were against teaching religion to kids were against all religions or just Christianity. Thank you for your answers, but it raised another question.

This only pertains to teaching at home, not schools.

I had answers stating to wait until the kid is older. Now, my questions are, how old? And do you show many religions or hold off until the kid reaches that age? And, if it's many religions, what about the parent's primary religion? Should a Christian introduce a kid to Buddism if it goes against what they believe?

I am curious as to your answers since I do not understand your logic behind this. After all, I personally think that not teaching a child until they reach this "enlightened" age only opens the doors to rejecting all religions. Please, explain your views.

I asked for answers ONLY from people who don't like the holidays and why. I KNOW many people like holidays; I EVEN LIKE SOME OF THEM. But I only wanted to hear from those who don't.

So, why do people who like them, keep answering, even when asked NOT to? I'm not arguing whether holidays are good or not; I just want to hear stories from people who DON'T like holidays, not those who do, for my own reasons.

Are people dense or do they just not read the question?! (it's under Holidays>Thanksgiving). It's maddening! They're clogging up the thread with stuff I already know!
