I asked for answers ONLY from people who don't like the holidays and why. I KNOW many people like holidays; I EVEN LIKE SOME OF THEM. But I only wanted to hear from those who don't.

So, why do people who like them, keep answering, even when asked NOT to? I'm not arguing whether holidays are good or not; I just want to hear stories from people who DON'T like holidays, not those who do, for my own reasons.

Are people dense or do they just not read the question?! (it's under Holidays>Thanksgiving). It's maddening! They're clogging up the thread with stuff I already know!

And PLEASE, I DO NOT WANT TO DISCUSS HOLIDAYS HERE! I only want answers to THIS question!

People who are answering your questions (about loving the holidays) are the same people who feel we should have "Christmas in July" and put up our trees in October, leave them up until March and want to spread all that disgusting holiday cheer and shove it up our a s s until we can't take it anymore. I hate the holidays because they're just a grueling reminder that I am FORCED to spend time with people I can't stand, eat food that I don't like and have to answer to why I hate it every stinking year (hate pumpkin pie - I think it's disgusting. Hate sweet potatoes too). It's also a reminder that I miss my grandparents more than anything on Earth and when they were here, THAT was when the holidays were fun. Since then, I don't care about the holidays. BA FREAKING HUMBUG!!!!!!!

Most people - especially those of a religious mindset (the type most likely to answer questions about holy days) - have a ready rant or three that they are dying to share. Give them even the ghost of an opportunity by mentioning their pet bugaboo ... like "My God's Day" (sorry) ... and they are just bound to go off on it.
It's not that they are dense or stupid, really, just opportunistic ... rather like a cold virus.

Maybe because people who don't like holiday's also do not like answering questions. they are too into themselves for the most part.

Maybe because so many people enjoy this time of year that when they hear of someone who doesn't it saddens them and they want to help you have a good time by sharing their good experiences.

stupid and clueless. it happens alot its like they don't even read what you ask they just read what they are thinking...its annoying and irritating. don't stop posting though, you will still get all of those but you'll also get the sincere ppl who actually read what you write and answer it.
