I have seen demons, they linger around, whispering into our 'ears.' They are the ones that create fear, anxiety, and spiritual pain. They mock us, we can have several demons around us daily. Do you make it a habbit to cast out the demons in the name of the Lord from yourself? (If you don't believe in demons, then there's really no need for you to answer is there?! Save face and move on)

Just wondering, I'm not Christian myself. Its just that I cant recall the last time I met a religious person (not including atheism), expect the Jehovah Witness that last came to see me.

Oh and I'm not saying that its a good thing if it is 'dying out' before anyone gets upset!

stupid play station 3. I mean really, I went to walmart last night and people had blankets and formed a line on the side of the building laying on the ground waiting for a playstation 3. I wonder if these people are up and ready 4 church that early, and if they got there would they sit on the ground outside and wait for it to open?

Will of God: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice" is the same will and stated purpose of Christ(Son of God) coming, as noted in Psalms 40:6; Psalms 51:16; Jeremiah 6:20; Hosea 6:6; Matthew 6:10; Matthew 9:13; Matthew 12:7; John 17:4; Hebrews 10:7-10.

But the will of the Father is not the same will of Jesus(Son of Man) in Luke 22:42 "Father...not my will, but thine, be done".

Is the Father of Jesus perhaps different than the Father of Christ? If they are one, their will should also be one, not two different wills.

I need rules for planning an Office Secret Santa. I am talking of the ritual of leaving someone surprise gifts for like 12 days or something. NOT THE OLD FASHINONED POLYANNA!I have heard of people playing this around the holidays, but never paid much attention to how exactly it goes. If anyone has some guidelines... I could really use them!
Some things I'd find helpful are:
Spending limits
When to start
How many days/gifts per day
When to reveal identities
etc., etc., etc.

THANKS A BUNCH!!

If we are all grown up with a sense of humor no one needs to be offended by a laugh... After all, we're all fallible human beings right?

Why is it that many reports of crime do not specify race of the criminal? Would it be racist to report the attacker was black? or should it be assumed they are white due to population-race percentage?

When someone says: "I don't understand why this has to be so difficult", they are really making a classic passive-aggressive insult which roughly translates to: "This is not difficult, but you are making it so."

It is infuriating.

The only responses I can ever come up with inflame the situation. My responses vary depending on how long the passive-aggressive obstructionist and I have been going at it.

Here's how typical conversations go:

Speaker:"I don't understand why this has to be so difficult."

Me: "Which parts do you find difficult?" (when I'm trying to help)

Me: "Which parts don't you understand?" (when I'm frustrated with the person)

Me: "It is not difficult." (when I'm slightly angry at the person)

Me: "Yes, you are right." (when I'm very angry at the person)

Can anyone please provide a more diplomatic response that would 1) defuse the situation and 2) ideally, address the fact that the speaker has offered a veiled insult.

Thank you in advance.

Steven S.

Because they are unholy filthyy Jews in disguise--who wants to destroy God's Holy Church from within. They misinterpret LOVE to save the evil homoperverts and filthyy ******* and infidels. NO--Love is not so easy and cheap. Jesus showed his LOVE--when he annihilated Sodom and Gomorrah. He showed Love--when he flooded the Whole Earth. He showed Love--when he told us to love our ENEMIES like OURSELVES. He Showed Love when he told us to Hate our fathers and mothers. He showed Love when he told us about the GNASHING OF TEETHS. So, LOVE IS NOT SO EASY. LOVE IS GENERATED BY A LOT OF SACRIFICE AND TORMENT AND FIGHT. We TORMENT OUR ENEMIES BECAUSE WE TORMENT OURSELVES.WE FIGHT OUR ENEMIES BECAUSE WE FIGHT OURSELVES FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. WE JUDGE BECOZ WE JUDGE OURSELVES. WE HATE AND KILL ONLY FOR GOD'S SAKE--AND THIS IS TRUE LOVE--WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO HATE YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER AND EVEN YOURSELF For Christ's sake. LET US JOIN THE HOLY WAR!!!!!!

I am wondering how many Christians actually study the bible? How many of you have read it cover to cover? Of the people who have read the whole bible, how many of you still believe it?

I was raised in the church and I don't know of many Christians who have read it all the way through so be honest! If a lot of people on here say they have read it all the way through, every verse on every page, I know you are lying.

I stopped believing the Bible after I read most of it. I still have not read every book though, but I read the Old Testament and about half of the New, and I just couldn't believe it any more.
