ok im n high school and a freshman girl and i got beat up by this girl and well cuz i did somthin stupid i blew smoke n her face that which started the fite cuz i was smoking and walking wit a frend to across the street and that girl was sitting on a bench and got all mad saying thats not how u smoke a cigeratte and u shouldnt b smoking she was all up n my face and she was making fun of how i smoke anyways then i blew smoke in her face then i just walked away then she called me a ***** then i said do somthing and u kno the rest i didnt realize how big she was till she sat on me she was a 400 pound hippo. but i got beat up n front of my dad and i wanted to get her back. I know I know im stupid to start a fite but i dont think its always been like that i dont think at all before i act. my frend says i should forget bout it and move on but i looked so weak getting beat up in front of my dad and i wanted revenge i want to her her sooo bad but idk wat to do so i need advice wat shud i do??

There isn't a day goes by that I don't see on here a question relating to a pure urban legend, a myth, etc. What can be easier than typing two or three key words in google and checking out snopes or truthorfiction or urbanlegends?

Why do people ask these things on here as if it was a serious question?

And, of course, there is always someone at work or some social event who brings up one urban legend or another.

Add to that the emails I get (sometimes from close friends) that try to pass off urban legends as fact - and I wonder how did we ever get to be so intelligent of a species...

I have a question for those of you who celebrate Christmas from a religious instead of commercial standpoint.

Do you buy gifts? If so, is there a preset spending limit to prevent the celebration from becoming a financial burden? Is there anyone on here who's family does not buy gifts, but celebrates in a different way?

Do you read the Christmas story/attend church/read from the Bible on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

It seems to me that the holiday is more of a time to get together with family, exchange gifts, and catch up with each other and has very little to do with Jesus's birthday.

I used to get like 20 thumbs when I say something against gay people in their section, but now it's like yahooanswer forget abt other sections to protect the GLBT section. I used to have fun there. My christians people you see how they're doing their best to protect Gay people in the country?
we won't get mad if they come to our section, but why do they mad when we go to their section? I can answer that light wins over darkness.

You would think that religion would have started on the basis of one god and then people would gravitate to the concept of more gods not less. No disrespect to hinduism. Most geographic regions believed in polytheism thousands of years ago and now most geographic regions believe in monotheism.

My family is coming down for Thanksgiving and this is my first time cooking the dinner! I did like most people and I just waited around for the food to finish, then get's to digging! I have an 11 pound turkey and I need to know the best way to defrost it? U known the day I need to start and how? I also need to know what's a good poultry seasoning? heaven or hell..i either burn or live in glory..too f**king simple.....not at all logical..whats there to do in heaven?...i dont want to walk around with a bunch of people saying please and thank you...lol..im just kidding.......but im still saying that niether one exist..people need a simple idea...and back then it was perfect cause we were simple people...but if you really want to believe in naked people and talking snakes then the bible is perfect for your salvation..as for me,.i dont rely on the feeling of faith.....faith is just a feeling.....a sercurity blanket thats defends off all question of the bible.people want to believe that we were created by god...and we very well could have.....im not denouncing god......im saying what we know of him is incorrect,and the laws he set were merely our own...plus its pesumpuious to assume that were the first earth..we could be earth number 48....so go ahead and mock me...i wish more people would ask questions instead of just ACCEPTING faith

I had to do a report on same-sex marriages, both pro and con sections, but I have to rewrite the con section because the professor said it was mocking homosexuals more so then convencing they shouldnt marry. I dont know what angle to take for this report now, any help?
