God has placed in each man a desire to know Him and an innate knowledge of Him (like an adopted child searching for their biological roots). I became a Christian after following many other teachings and doing alot of research, my conscience was never restless.

I'm a Christian because of God's love and grace. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, but doesn't give a restless conscience. If you feel restless, it may be for other reasons. There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. I'm a Christian because Jesus saw me in my need of a Savior and came and rescued me. He'll do the same for you if you ask Him.

I am a Christian coz I love Jesus & I would lovve to follow him & his teachings for the rest of my life!
Being with Jesus gives me peace & rest, coz I know I am well taken care of, loved, & protected by the all mighty.
Having a restless conscience, is not a coz for being Christian. But sometimes when u love someone so much, u can't afford to upset Him...
Got me?
God Bless

Nope. I became a Christian after reading the 22nd Psalm which is an exact depiction of Jesus on the cross. It was written before crucifixion was invented and before Jesus was born. It started me wondering, then searching. The conscience thing happened after I accepted God's free gift of salvation. I believe it to be the Holy Spirit guiding me in my choices in life - helping me to become a better person.

SLEESTACK 10,
I am convicted in the Spirit at times. You might have felt it; it comes when you know you are wrong about something. The conviction that you are either going to allow what you are doing, even though it is wrong, to take place.
A series of convictions, not only from doing wrong, but in doing right, guided me to trust God through the salvation provided by Jesus. And that continues, even in what I am writing to you now.
I know that what I am writing to you now is true, that the Spirit of God guides me to direct certain words to you, so that you can make the same choices that I have made; to either go the right way, or go your way.
So it is by faith in Jesus, the Resurrection of Him, and the other promises that God gave in the Bible that makes me separated from this world, and gains me a part in the world that God will provide in the next world. The conscience is just one way He works with me. He can do the same for you. You just have to want it.

No, I am a Christian because I've realized that I can't do it myself. I tried for many years, and felt restless.
When I turned to God and accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, my restlessness went away, and was replaced by peace.

No, I'm a Christian because I realized I was a sinner and came to the knowledge of the truth of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and trusted Him for the forgiveness of my sin.

Being a Christian means being aware of how accountable you are for your actions, thoughts and words. Understanding and accepting that we are ALL sinners, no one person is "better" than another, we are all guilty of sin, we have been given a gift of salvation through the blood of Christ, we are not worthy of his sacrifice, but, he loves us and understands that we are all wicked in our own ways.
Even Noah was a drunk!
David was an adulterer!
Both men, loved by God, but nonetheless only men after all, and therefore sinners.
I came to Christ fully when I was in my mid thirties. I always had belief but no relationship of my own with Christ.
