That is a very interesting question. Yes. A Christian does die; to himself.

You notice that the baptism, when someone is immersed in water and then pulled up, as if they are laying down in the Earth, and then Resurrected?

That's just an outward symbol of the decision that a Christian made. Put into the ground and then pulled out of the ground; the water being the 'symbol' of the earth that a body is laid in. The promise is that we will be raised from the dead, a new creation provided by the Spirit of God because of faith in that promise of God.

As a matter of fact, YES! In order to be born again, we must die to our sins, to our 'old man'. This is the only way to be saved.

That is the most intelligent question I have ever seen on this stupid program. I am being serious. The next time I bump into a born again christian, and they say," I am a born again christian." Once you are a born again it means that you died to your old self with its sins. It means that you no longer wish to carry on sinning & that you are turning towards God. You may fall in Sin many times but the difference is that it is just a stumble & not a life style.
