Well I believe that people do have a reason, but it is a horrible reason. Many Americans believe that Islam is our enemy due to the 9/11 attacks, and different terrorist issues since.

The fact is that you can't hate all Muslims based on what a select few people did. Jeffery Dahmer claims to be Christian after all! I know that does not make all Christians cannibals and serial killers!

My husband is Muslim. He has experienced some prejudice. But once people get to know him, that changes. For example, when he started working his current job, there was a co-worker who was very cool toward him. About 6 months later, the co-worker came up to him and said "I have to apologize to you - I didn't like you because you are Muslim, but now that I have worked with you these last six months, I find you to be a very nice, honorable man. Can you please forgive me?" They are now close friends.

People judge others often because of race, religion, etc. Just look at history. Black people were thought of as inferior - were owned as slaves in America. When the Chinese people came to work on the railroads in the 1800's, people were prejudiced against them. The same for the Irish, the Italian, the list goes on.

It is a concept that is foreign to me because my parents tried very hard to make sure that I accepted each individual person on their own merits. I'm sure that my parents probably had their own prejudices - but they never showed them to me or my siblings. It is how I have raised my children. Now, my eldest has children, and they are also being raised to accept others as they are.

Why people can't just get along, pretty sad huh?

No

And hate is not always a correct term

Have problems with is better

The following is a summary of the book "How to make your wife happy by Sheikh Mohammed Abdelhaleem Hamed:

Intercourse
It is obligatory to do it habitually if you have no excuse (sickness, etc.)

A Saudi court has sentenced a gang rape victim to 90 lashes of the whip because she was alone in a car with a man to whom she was not married.

Saudi is an ISLAMIC NATION by express constitionality. ALL laws and judgements have to be in keeping with the Quran

So, the GIRL that got raped GOT whipped!

As for the women the book of Allah is emphatic that women are inferior to men and if they disobey their husbands the latter have the right to beat them (4:34). Their punishment for disobeying their husbands does not end there, because after they die they will go to hell (66:10). The Quran emphasizes the superiority of men by confirming that men have an advantage over the women (2:228). It not only denies women's equal right to their inheritance (4:11-12), it also regards them as imbeciles and decrees that their testimony is not admissible in the court of law unless it is accompanied with the testimony of a man (2:282). This means that a woman who is raped cannot accuse her rapist unless she can produce a male witness. Muhammad allowed the Muslim men to marry up to four wives (although he himself had a score of them) and gave them license to enjoy their "right-hand possessions" (women captured in wars), as many as they can capture or afford to buy (4:3), even if the woman is married before being captured (4:24).

Quran tells Muslims to kill the disbelievers wherever they find them (2:191), murder them and treat them harshly (9:123), slay them (9:5), fight with them (8:65 ), strive against them with great endeavor (25:52), be stern with them because they belong to hell (66:9) and strike off their heads; then after making a “wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives” for ransom (47:4).

This is how the pagans are to be treated. As for the Christians and the Jews, the order is to subdue them and impose on them a penalty tax, after humiliating them (9:29) and if they resist, kill them.

I have some sever problems with what they do.

No one denies Muhammad married a 6 year old girl and consumated that marriage when she was 9 years old. Right after she got of her swing in the yard.

Hate, that's too strong a word for not all of them are this zealous.

Have issues with what is behind what they embrace, definately.

If you have a strong stomach look at this and TAKE NOTE THEY SAY THEY WILL REMOVE IT IF PROVEN WRONG!

I don't think the issue is dislike of Muslims, it is dislike of the restrictions imposed by Islam that does not sit well with many. No alcohol, fine French wine, no eating delicious pork. Muslim women forced to wear the Burqua, or are not alowed to go to uni, date or marry who they choose (eg. a non-Muslim) while men can. Death to non-believers etc. etc.

Xtianity (for example) also used to impose such restrictions, but since the Reformation, rabid fundamentalists (even Geroge W.)no longer have as broad power to impose their will on others as still seems to be the case with Islam.

It's not you---anyone who can stick their head out media and think rationally about the situation of Muslims and their actions---will not deny that it's not fair how they are being denied. Muslims are in this state where their religion, Islam, is being portrayed as a oppressive religion. But then i wonder that those who truly open up their minds and study Islam, often end up converting into it. It is the religion with outgrowing converts.

And Allah knows best!

No. I do not hate Muslims. I hate what they believe. I have no love for islam, but the individuals in it are human, and Jesus Christ died for them just as He did for me. I will confess I do not totally trust them.

I don't hate all Muslims...I hate Muslim fanatics that like to blow **** up and kill innocent people....I'd say that's a good enough reason to hate them.

It's about trust

When 1 group of people believes that killing people with suicide bombs will win favor with God! you have to take a step back and wonder why?

My god is a loving God who wants all people of the world to love one another.

Until these random acts of violence stop it will be hard To win peoples trust.

It's not muslims I hate. It's islam. And I hate islam because I've read the quran and find it just as ludicrous as the Bible and the Torah and the Bagavhad Gita and every other holy text I've ever forced myself to read.
