i wish more people would say Merry Christmas. After all, regardless of how free and politically correct Canada and the United States have become, we shouldnt forget about the people who built up the country which were Christmas observers (i know people will think i forgot the natives, but I'm talking about those who brough most of us europeans to canada). If it weren't for these people. not even the ones who DON'T celebrate christmas would be here. i wouldn't go to israel and expect peopel to say happy holidays, or anywhere else for that matter... soooo... that being said, in keeing with tradition. Merry Christmas everyone :)

Merry Christmas to you also!! No I am not offended I am a Christian and I love Happy Holidays also but, I don't like Season's greetings. However , I do have some cards we get for free that is Season's greetings and wrapping paper and so on. I am not upset about that however, I am upset at the wording Season's greetings.

No, I wouldn't get offended at ANY seasonal greeting if offered in a friendly way.

Have yourself a Merry Christmas!

I'm not Christian but I see nothing wrong with "Merry Christmas." I think suggesting saying happy holidays as a better alternative is stupid. People should just say what they feel right.

LOL but I did use to work as a cashier at Wal-mart and I was put on the door to greet people and a couple came up and asked me if I was allowed to say "Merry Christmas" I was like, "uh, yeah." The guy got all pissy like "I heard you couldn't do that, man if Wal-mart made that a rule I'd stop going here." I was just thinking "chill Jesus freak"!!!!

No, but it's the religion of my youth. I can understand how some might not want to receive such wishes. It would be like saying "Happy Turkey Day" to a vegetarian (which I am). In such a case, I wouldn't be offended unless the person who said it knew I was vegetarian, and intentionally said it to hurt my feelings or taunt me. (This hasn't happened--just my imagination ... and too much caffeine.)

Merry Christmas to you!

PS What about "Have a Cool Yule!" ... uugh I know!

Of COURSE NOT!MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO! And have a BLESSED NEW YEAR! I get offended when these retail store people tell me "Happy HOlidays!" I tell them to "Have a Merry Christmas!"

No, not at all, it is a friendly greeting. And should be taken as such. I am not about to analyze the source or take offense that you didn't greet me with MY holiday messages. I have no wish to argue the matter. So Merry Christmas back at ya. And have a wonderful winter solstice as well.

Peace.

I don't celebrate mass either, but I wouldn't get offended.
I'd say Merry Christmas to you, too.
And by the way,
Merry Christmas Everyone.
I know I'm early, but plans may prevent me from saying when I should.
And Happy Holidays to those of you like that better.
