Thank you for answering this question because it shows that in some areas you lack real knowledge.. The One who gave you the ability to think & to analyse things in logic must have a Logic too since He has created you. No?
We know that God is Honest & truthfull. Along all the existence History , He showed us who He is. He said: what I am telling you is Truth. I am The Truth, The Life & The Road. If you don't see that then You make Him a liar which is not at all His attribute
When you buy a machine you refer to the manufacturer Catalog because He knows best, Right? So if you really need an answer & not just trying to amaze people I suggest that you read His book ( The Holy Book: The Bible) then you will know lots of things about life, reality & truth. Also if you got an urgent answer or an inquiryy. I invite you to visit: www.christiananswers.net
Blessings

If you think that the Bible is a man made book and not inspired by God, consider this.
Evolution says that man and dinosaurs were separated by millions of years. The Bible says that we lived at the same time (they were called dragons, Leviathan, Behemoth, and unicorn). There are rocks with human and dinosaur footprints in them (do a web search with the keywords "human dinosaur footprints".
Logically this means that the Bible is correct.
Also the Bible says that God separated water from the water (by lifting it up) and created our atmosphere in between. This water layer would keep out UV and other harmful rays from the sun, and from air samples in amber we know that the air pressure and oxygen levels were about twice as much as today. This was a very healthy living condition and people lived to around 900 years old (today doctors use hyperbolic chambers with these air conditions to help people heal better). Reptiles grow all their lives, imagine how big a lizard would get if it lived for 500 years! It would be as big as a dinosaur.
God has given us some scientific evidence to go on, but He wants us to also trust Him on the things that we do not understand.

I am Rational Spirituality,
and I empathised with you throughout reading your question. God is, and is not simple. God's simplicity lies in that he knows the whole Truth, and to Him, that is simple. But that Truth is infinetly complicated, and to us that would not be simple.
Now, when it comes to people simplifying religious concepts, it is due to the limitations of their own thinking, not to say that there may be religious groups with an ulterior motive. So, I agree, official religious dogmas do not contain the full Truth, and much of the truth that they do contain, is often expressed in symbolical language, and is therefore misunderstood.
Believe me, or not, I know the Truth about God, because a Divine Soul conveyed it to me. Try reading Rational Spirituality available on the Dhaxem website, it makes perfect sense.
Available only since Feruary 2006, it is already a najore force amongst those able to think.

If Adam and Eve were the first- who did their kids marry? Ask everything! Read everything! You'd be surprised at how many writings overlap in different religions. I actually like the American Natives idea of the great Spirit- its more earthy and makes more sense to me. I tend to think of God as a perfect law of all- the way- the grease (not to sound disrespectful) that keeps the engine going. My Mom used to say if you put a bump in the wheel it will hit you in the head later on-- I think she was right,we all are here to grow spiritually in this physical plain. Judging the afterlife and God with words and physical attributes doesn't work-and I don't believe in Hell- we make our own heavens I'm sure- and I'm sure we picked our lives beforehand as a road to help us "grow" but then, I guess I'm a horrible Hippie type Christian-- or one who's parents had me read too much! HA!

Heaven will be indescribable but beautiful. We will feel no pain no hunger no anger no need for anything true heaven where we will live with our father forever how can you not want that.
As for asking questions I won't mock you for every question you ask there is a tugging at the heart that wants answers and maybe not you but there are others out there reading these same questions that may be ready to open there hearts to God but are not sure. They may have that same question as you and to them I will say yes accepting Gods love you won't regret it.

Faith is not a feeling. Faith is a state of believing and trusting. You believe by faith. You walk by faith. You have FAITH in God. That's more than just a feeling. It takes total trust to put in FAITH in something or someone you can't see.
So, what is it about God that's so incorrect. You mean to tell me you know? Faith makes you strong. It also keeps you sane.

Ask this question too, then : Are there any believers who spend their lives asking the same questions and patiently but determinedly seeking the answers because the answers to these questions are the only ones that really matter?

Which theologians say that? i don't believe of Paul idea that way in any respect; extremely the opposite. Romans 11:33-34 "Oh the depths of the riches of the know-how and understanding of God! How unsearchable His judgements, and His paths byond tracing out! Who has common the recommendations of the Lord, or who has been His counsellor?""

Would it be easier for you to understand if God made a whole list of requirements for us to measure up to?Can't you see, there's absolutely no way we can measure up to God's standards . We can't possibly earn salvation or his love .It's his gift to us through the blood sacrifice of his son. It's our choice if we want it or not. So simple even a child can understand but simple in its self ,no way.
