Like the dude who asked "Do you think Islam is the religion of Satan" like it was a perfectly valid question that could be debated with two sides and rationality? Do some people just enjoy making others angry and starting shouting matches? What is wrong with these people, and how do they get that misguided?

Why do some like to see stuff banned? I mean really. Let's ban smoking in bars even though it has been done and it has been a tradition since the 1700's.
Let's put more bans on fireworks. One stupid kid gets and hurt and let us pay for the rest.
Let's put more regulations of pollutions. Should we ban forest fires and volcanoes too? Many don't realize how much carbon dioxide, methane, and many other chemicals these natural occurance put in the air.

Let the laim enviromentalists ban oil drilling. So we have to pay higher gas prices.
Ya I know, drilling oil in Alaska will just pollute the whole freaking world. Are people this dumb?

BUT... Lets legalize other immoral things like gay marriages. Oh ya, it won't hurt anyone else. Smoking is much worse? Are some people living in another world or what?
Gay marriages put out a bad example to others and slow down human populations. New babies cannot be born. Get the logic here?

ok my mom and dad have let our family fall inactive from the church so i want to prepare a family home evening this monday on the second coming, and of the celestial kingdom. the basic idea i want to get across in my lesson is that we need to work hard to get to the celestial kingdom to be reconnected with my baby brother who died as a toddler. i want them to come back to the church so our family can be reunited, does anyone know some good scriptures, lessons, or talks to help me prepare my lesson? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please actually read the following scriptures before you answer. I can not figure out how Christians can be OK with these sorts of things.

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

And don't go telling me that we disregard the OT!
"It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17)

Jesus approves of slavery, he even approves of beating slaves even when they did not know they did anything wrong!
"The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. "But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given." (Luke 12:47-48)

If God, insisted everyone should not pray to another excpet for him, wouldn't that be considered egoistical. And if so, wouldn't that be considered one of the deadly sins. And would that make God Imperfect. Please don't tell me God is above that.

Ok, i'm doing a Paster Project for religion on stewardship.

The objective of this project is to the encourage the students of my school to take better care of the earth, make “greener” choices in their lives, meet their responsibility as God’s stewards of the earth, and show them examples of what they can do to help save the earth.

The expectations for this projects are to show the teacher that you understand what stewardship is and what is involves today. Use pictures and symbols to express your thoughts and convictions. Your poster should be colourful and organized. You must also include written work that is typed and gives and explanation of what your poster is saying.

Now I don’t really need help with much. All I need help with is to find a catchy slogan for the poster, almost like a headline in the newspaper that catches your attention. Please help me by giving me some examples of a catchy slogan I can use!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard enough to go on a first date with someone you like. There's all that pressure of, what will I say? What if I do something stupid? What if they carry a gun? What if I get something in my teeth? What if they try to kiss me? What if I do something to offend them? What if they think I'm staring at their crotch instead of at them? What if they're a deranged psychopath? But can you imagine the stress level of God asking you out on a date?

That the more you go off on gays the more straight people like me who have a gay or lesbian close to my heart are going to come back with a vengence?? The best way for you to get your point across is to keep your mouth shut. I never thought about fighting for their rights until I saw all the Bible preaching horrible people on here. And if you're so against gays WHY come on to their site? Granted I'm not but I don't come on here to judge them I just think they happen to be nicer than most straight people.

The tests seem a bit vague to me. Give me some scriptural references if you know them. Some examples would also help - the Buddha, St Paul, Mohammed, Martin Luther, the Popes, Joseph Smith, Billy Graham and the other Evangelicals, the Rev Moon.....How do we know who we should listen to?
