It's hard enough to go on a first date with someone you like. There's all that pressure of, what will I say? What if I do something stupid? What if they carry a gun? What if I get something in my teeth? What if they try to kiss me? What if I do something to offend them? What if they think I'm staring at their crotch instead of at them? What if they're a deranged psychopath? But can you imagine the stress level of God asking you out on a date?

That's just all in your head. If you see that they're carrying a gun, just tell them openly, Why are you carrying a gun. Why do you have to be so alienated from them? If you're on a date with them, don't you love them? If you love them, why are you afraid of discussing about guns with them? If you can't say anything you want to God, if you can't be open and honest with him, with whom can you?

On the other hand, there would be no need for boring small talk.

God would already know everything about you, even that cute little anecdote you tell people about that thing that happened to you in Psych class your freshman year.

You are a very selfish person. All your "what ifs" have to do with yourself. Sin is being selfish. Unless you repent of your sins and trust Jesus to save you then God will be your Judge and not your Savior on Judgment Day. You and I and everyone else have done nothing but break all of God's Commandment's in either word, thought, or deed. We need forgiveness. Today is the day of salvation. Don't wait, for tomorrow is not promised to any man.

Jesus asked me out three times but I turned him down every time. I just can't date someone who everyone loves. I'm not that secure. LOL :P
