couple of questions about teenage life...?

1. about how much percent of teenagers end up making bad decisions in life such as smoking, gangs, criminal activites, etc.?

2. about how many teenagers actually quit their bad habits or decisions before reaching adultry?

3. about how many teen school dropouts end up with a good career or job later in their lives?

4. about how many teen school dropouts end up with a bad or hard life?

Answer 1

1) 100%--we all make bad choices some of us make worse choices than others.
2)85%--most of us reform as we mature
3)65%--several of us will go back to get a GED and a college degree as we figure out that jobs pay more based on education.
4)25%--a few of us will end up with unfortunate events that prevent us from fulfilling our dreams and living productive lives, it doesn't mean we have stopped trying it's just, we try with whatever is available for us to work with.

I don't know the statistics, but I can guess that most that end up smoking and in gangs don't end up in a comfortable lifestyle with a good career, they usually end up with the same problems following them throughout life and may end up in prison or dead, on welfare or trying to make something of themselves only to find out that their past still haunts them.
Speaking from experience, I did kick the smoking habit after 15 years of it, and it was hard. I dropped out of school and although I don't regret it, because I made some other good decisions..it has been an uphill battle. My life has turned out good only because of my will power and the grace of my higher powers.

D_Cris, if this is for any type of school assignment consider changing the word adultry to adulthood. I don't know the statistics but it's a thoughtful question.
