It really depends on the day. If things are going well for me externally, I tend to feel beautiful. But if I failed a test, had a bad day at work, and spilled orange juice on my favorite jeans-- The self image would go down a notch.

No, and that's not a plea for a compliment. I know I am not classically beautiful. I have very stereotypically Sicilian looks. My features are too big, I am too tall, I have stretch marks from pregnancy and my hair is unruly.
But I like myself anyway.

I think I'm cute but sometimes I feel ugly and people say I beautiful but I don't believe them.

I have never thought that I was beautiful but in my mamma's heart and in my dad's heart I have always been beautiful. Therefore, I KNOW I am beautiful and loved too.

yes...to 2 little people...i am the most beautiful women in the world...and sometimes they make me believe it.
If I were able to wear my heart on my sleeve, literally...then the whole world would see i really am...
But for now, thru my kids eyes...yes...i think i am.

I think I am OK but it is funny how you can fool yourself. I look in the mirror every day when getting ready for work and I think I look pretty good. Then I see a photo of myself and wonder "what happened?"
