Anarchism comes in several varieties, perhaps the most classic being that of Mikhail Bakunin.
Liberalism is the generous opening of mind and heart, the wilingess to overcome selfish or class interest to benefit the greater part, if not all of society, all of the community, if such a utopian dream could be achieved.
According to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, "In England — in many ways the birthplace of liberalism — the liberal tradition in politics has centred on religious toleration, government by consent, personal and, especially, economic freedom. In France liberalism has been more closely associated with secularism and democracy. In the United States liberals often combine a devotion to personal liberty with an antipathy to capitalism, while the liberalism of Australia tends to be much more sympathetic to capitalism but often less enthusiastic about civil liberties."

It's mob rule out there!
Or in other words a democracy.
I'm a proud participant in all this democratic chaos going on. Call it liberalism if you want.

Liberals want to be in charge of everything and dictate how the government does everything. Anarchists believe in no government at all.
