I don't want just a dictionary definition. I'd like something original. And why do you possess it? how did you come to possess it?

Yes, For me I believe I have some wisdom.

How did I get this wisdom?
Well I believe I got it from trial and error.

For example.. fire, you touch fire you get burnt, you hopefully learn from this and know not to touch it again.. Hence you have gained some knowledge.
More knowledge is the start of being wise, hence the word wisdom.

So I feel with the life lessons I have learnt over the years im becoming wiser to a lot of trivial bits of information / knowledge out there.
So I have wisdom.

In opinion, I believe wisdom is experiencing life to the fullest. In happiness and sadness, striving through all odds, and accepting defeat when challenged, but courageous enough to learn the skills to challenge self. Open enough to participate to make a difference is someone Else's life, without seeking self recognition but witnessing their happiness the true reward. Never giving up searching for the answers to those questions for the world is a vast and beautiful place if we only care to look hard enough. I have come to possess it, experiencing life as it unfolds each and every day, and am still learning. Therefore taking the good with the bad, and learn the lesson, and the doors of opportunity remain open to learn and possess more. Thanks for asking.

I believe that wisdom is the ability to use the knowledge which one has gained in the right way. Solomon in the Bible was said to be one who had wisdom. And if you read about the beginning of his reign as king of Israel, you will see that he knew how to use the knowledge which God had given to him. And if we truly possess it, it is because we have followed the leadership of God, and allowed Him to teach us how to use the knowledge which He has given unto us. I do not claim to be completely wise in every decision which I have to make. I have made a lot of mistakes; just as I am sure every person has done. But I try and remember to ask God to give me wisdom in everything that I go to do; especially if it is concerns something that I am not familiar with. I believe that true wisdom only comes from God, and God alone.

Wisdom is another way of say, " Planning ahead "

If a person plants a large crop, and harvests it in time for winter with enough to share with his neighbors, he is considered a " wise " ( if not generous ) man.

If a person is able to solve disputes between people in such away that they both benefit and cease conflict in the future, he is considered wise.

So with that, I'd say Wisdom is the ability to produce a positive future outcome. Do I have it? sure. I just don't use it as often as I should.

To me wisdom is being able to make wise decisions and good choices. Knowledge and wisdom come from fear of the Lord.

Any instruction from the Word of God that I have believed and followed is wisdom. Any deductions I have come to from my own reasoning, apart from God, is folly.

So, to answer your question...wisdom? I have some.

Why do I possess it?...I realized that man's reasonings are flawed and temporal, God's are eternal and perfect.

How did I come to possess it? From studying the Bible.

Wisdom is seeking your real self and when you find each other
find the creator. As for me I'm on that path but as yet I still a river
someday I hope to go home to the sea.

True wisdom only comes from God. Knowledge applied in this world is worldly wisdom and does not impress God.
