The apostles were the first Bishops. 12 is a very important number because it represents the 12 tribes of Israel which Jesus said the 12 apostles will judge at the 2nd coming of Jesus.

If only 1 of the 12 Apostles had been a female, then the Pope would not have any problem with having female priests. But, guess what? Jesus (God Himself) only chose men for the appointment. The women were followers, but they were not the same as the apostles.

questions about bringing others to Christ or why people reject the word of God and Jesus that people that are not christians have to come on there and be rude and put down what we believe? I dont hear that coming out of a christian to a buddist or a musslem or something like that.

~I respect you and your beliefs. I dont nessarely beleive in them but I respect it. Why dont you respect mine too? What did I do? What did Jesus do? God? Other Christians?

Although what follows may fairly be interpreted to be a proof of the non-historicity of Jesus, it must be realized that the burden of proof does not rest upon the skeptic in this matter. It may be conceded that it is not surprising that there are no coins surviving from the first century with the image of Jesus on them. Unlike Tiberius Cæsar and Augustus Cæsar who adopted him, Jesus is not thought to have had control over any mints. Even so, we must point out that we do have coins dating from the early first century that bear images of Tiberius that change with the age of their subject. We even have coins minted by his predecessor, Augustus Cæsar, that show Augustus on one side and his adopted son on the other. 1 Would Mr. Wright have us believe that these coins are figments of the imagination? Can we be dealing with fig-mints?

Most of us were encouraged in this mind-set by our childhood toys programs and treatment. Barbies are sold to go with Kens, adults coo over boys and girls when they hold hands, but adults separate boys and boys and girls and girls who are too affectionate. Basically, throughout our childhood, heterosexuality is encouraged, applauded and required, making me wonder if being straight isn't the more “unnatural" thing after all.....

the whole point is, there is no guy. if i wanted a guy, i would be with a guy. if they mean who is more dominate, then why not ask that-and if so, here is a question back, are you saying the guy is usually more dominate? if that's so, than almost every straight couple i have meet, the girl is the 'guy' and the guy is the 'girl'. just curious, always struck me as a strange question.....
