Although what follows may fairly be interpreted to be a proof of the non-historicity of Jesus, it must be realized that the burden of proof does not rest upon the skeptic in this matter. As always is the case, the burden of proof weighs upon those who assert that some thing or some process exists. If someone claims that he never has to shave because every morning before he can get to the bathroom he is assaulted by a six-foot rabbit with extremely sharp teeth who trims his whiskers better than a razor - if someone makes such a claim, no skeptic need worry about constructing a disproof. Unless evidence for the claim is produced, the skeptic can treat the claim as false. This is nothing more than sane, every-day practice.
It may be conceded that it is not surprising that there are no coins surviving from the first century with the image of Jesus on them. Unlike Tiberius Cæsar and Augustus Cæsar who adopted him, Jesus is not thought to have had control over any mints. Even so, we must point out that we do have coins dating from the early first century that bear images of Tiberius that change with the age of their subject. We even have coins minted by his predecessor, Augustus Cæsar, that show Augustus on one side and his adopted son on the other. 1 Would Mr. Wright have us believe that these coins are figments of the imagination? Can we be dealing with fig-mints?

Just because Jesus doesn't appear on a coin, doesn't mean that he didn't exist. Think about that... you're not on a coin. Does that mean you don't exist? But I do agree with you that a skeptic should treat claims as false until evidence is produced. I however, have seen and witnessed enough evidence for me to determine that Jesus was in fact a real person. I go so far as to say that he rose from the dead. First off, his life split time in two: time before him, and time after him. If that's not evidence of someone's existence, I dont know what is. Secondly, there are historical documents recording his life. Even muslims acknowledge the existence of Jesus. Thirdly, people gave up their lives for him less than 30 years after his death and resurrection. These were witnesses who were with him. Why would you die for something unless you were certain it were true? I could go on with plenty more... I've obviously only touched on a few. But I don't think that's really what you're asking here.. I'm not sure. But don't ever believe something to be true until you gather evidence and proof to support your belief. Otherwise it's a blind claim, and has no authority.

Excellent question, and a VALID one at that.
Most people who write off the existence of Christ never look into any reason as to WHY the world accepts Christ as historical fact, Christian or not.
Most of what we know about Christ comes from the same way we know about Socrates, or the Caesars, or anyone else. By what's written about them.
Check out the link below to see (work cited) proof about the historical accurateness of the existence of Christ.
P.S. Roman coins were minted with rulers' images. The Jews did not even consider Christ their King so you wouldn't find it on any coin.

If the next world is reward or punishment, then it remains that this world is a test...a testing ground. God is sifting men from men. Some people insist on proof, but you do not understand God's intention in permitting this world in the first place. And for me to explain it to you is a no no. Proof is there for those who are right inside. I got my proof...time and time and time again. Just seeking God in prayer, He comes, His Spirit. A person. Proof everyday! He walks. He talks. He's very much God and very much present....to some.
Therefore, the better question is this: if so many people say this is their experience, does it hold water? If a million people told you the bridge was out, would it hold water with you? Or, would you drive on without caution?
Do you know how many people have had supernatural encounters? Science of course readily discounts it as mental issues, problems of the mind. Truth is, you're average intellect, is a moron spiritually.
Therefore it remains that with all your intelligence, you may, infact, miss out on the most important thing...ever. Salvation. To the masses of this world, I have to say, if you are not submitted to that God, that Christ, it would be better had you never been born at all!

Just a short response to consider.
If Jesus never really existed, but was invented by men to establish an order of power over the masses, why would they all voluntarily submit to brutal executions, such as being fed to lions or crucified upsidedown? The answer is no body would, not even a madman. At the threat of bloodshed con artists spill the beans. The apostles did not. You might say in return, "Not valid, the Muslims voluntarily submit to death so you must conclude their faith is valid as well." The difference is that Muslims do not voluntarily submit to brutal and painful death at the hands of others with no though of retaliation. They agree to a swift death (self-explosion) to kill other people so they can be instantly transported into the presence of 70 teenage virgins where they will enjoy eternal sex. The apostles died because they loved their Lord. Muslims die because they love sex.
Just a thought. If the apostles were con artists, they would have admited the truth when Rome threatened their lives.
Finally, if you want to check out a man named N.T. Wright, he is probably one of the foremost experts on the historicity of Jesus. You can google him easy.

It is in the New Testament. It is up to you if you believe or not. God gives us a gift! It is up to you to accept it or to not accept it. We are suppose to have faith and live on the faith of God's word. If everyone could see proof, there would have been no reason for Jesus to die on the cross and save us from sin. God wants pure hearts in Heaven, not non believers who believe they don't sin and continue a corrupt life. The only way for this is to not reveal Himself to see who is really true and who is not.
The reason there is proof of the others with coins and such is because they were not of importance. Jesus is the Son of God! The others listed above were not. Presidents are on dollar bills, and they are not that important either, as they are just another man and a dollar is man made.

Of course there are no coins with Jesus on them. He was rejected by those in power, and HE was not Roman. But you already new that, and if you would have said so it would have made you entire rant pointless.
There is more proof of the existence of Jesus Bar Joseph of Nazareth then Abraham Lincoln. All you have to do is look at historical records of the day, they were very meticulous about keeping track of people.

He was not ceasar. He was not a rich ruler but the son of God. He wore rags, why would anyone think hey lets make jesus money. Also he traveled spreading the word, he didn't stop to rule the world or anything.
My answer is that so many people believed and passed on the story is proof. The fact that they never patronized him by putting his face on money is proof also. The affect would have been opposite.

your weak attempt with many words hold no truth or value, if you were to take the time to read the bible, you would know that there is proof in the text of the things Jesus did, yes without a doubt it is by faith that we who believe by faith alone. May i share a few verses with you.
John 21
24This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.
25Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

Come to think of of it, i haven't any actual info which you exist. For the record, the time-honored consensus is that there became a individual named Jesus who based the circulation of Christianity. nonetheless that's a possibility that there became an excellent conspiracy to totally invent a founder, try utilising Occam's razor. there is not any info of this type of conspiracy and it relatively is plenty less demanding to have self belief that there became a guy than that it relatively is an tricky (and generally meaningless) hoax. do no longer you think of that if the Christians have been going to invent a saviour, they might have a minimum of accounted for his entire existence extremely of leaving greater suitable than a million/2 of it sparkling?

The proof of Christ is in the heart that knows him.
While there is historical record of Jesus, that is merely historical evidence.
What you don't understand--and you can't, because you are bogged down in legalism--is that Jesus is alive and enters the life of a person who seeks him in humility and accepts the gift of salvation from his hand.
This proof is not independently verifiable.
Seek God, not ONLY secular documented evidence of Jesus' 33 years on earth. You are welcome to continue the search for secular history, but you'd be missing the great gift of life if you never sought knowledge of Christ by asking God to reveal him to you.
You can begin by looking at the nonsecular documented evidence of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection in the New Testament. There are firsthand accounts therein written by some of his friends.
