Question Details: I have having problems with employees smoking at a non smoking mcdonalds resturant in Ohio. Its after the dine in side closes and we are a 24hr resturant. I have contacted the owner of the resturant and she wont do anything about it becuase shes a smoker herself. What can I do to protect my self from the harful effects of second hand smoke. Managers allow this smoking also.

anyone have good ghost stories that actually happened? I have one, I actually met a demon in the alley of my apartments when iwas little. i didnt know what it was all i remember is being told to run. I couldn't see the figure it had red eyes and stood at eight feet. it spoke in a deep deep voice and asked me and my firends to 'join him' we just ran.

if so what do you think about the no smoking ban.. in the workplace and public places.. Im kind of undecided... I know i need to quit..
as does everyone.. who wants to prolong their life.. But is right for the government. to force restraunt owners, bar owners , etc and to make this decision for them.. what do ya think?

In my opinion, All the terms of endearment we have are demeaning, cutesy, or too casual. They're not loving words girlfriend/boyfriend? People use it when they've dated for two weeks and will be broken up by three. “Significant other” is still too technical. What's left? “Lover” who needs to know that?; it used to be acceptable. My Sweetie? YUCK! In Chinese, you can say "my beloved one," which is quite nice, but sounds pretentious in English. English just doesn't cut it in this area- It's bothersome and, really, a little bit sad, I think.
What do you call your..............??

I'm serious, it is one thing to have pride in your appearence and to be healthy and fit, but I just saw in the news another model died from anorexia. But it's not just models, My mother has a friend whos beautiful 16 year old daughter is currently in the hospital from anorexia. Practically every female I know and lots of males too are obsessed with their appearence and weight. I know too, I've always had an extra 20 lbs and it has tortured me my whole life. I never developed an eating disorder just cause I'm a strong willed girl but I'd be lying to say it hasn't made me very very depressed at times. But why? People today are looking like walking skeletons, I wanna know where all these obese Americans are supposed to be (besides walmart, ha ha joke) cause all I see are starving people everywhere. Does anyone else think enough is enough?!

Sometimes I see things in my peripheral vision, like someone (a person) passed by but when I turn to face it, there is really nothing there. I'm not so sure if its just my imagination but I guess I want to know if am I really seeing or feeling things from a different dimension? Is it normal?

I live in a place were 40% of the population is supported by government aid btw. I think its funny but do you think anyone would vandalise my (rusted 1985) vehicle?

i've often wondered, do you look at Germans differently? Do you wonder if it was HIM( who pushed your mother/sister into the chamber) who revealed you, who you could trust?
I have a German girlfreind who's uncle was shot by Russian troops. I know that doesn't make her evil... but aren't there those who lived through the war still likley to justify their thinking?

for my ancestral religious ceremonies? i am a navajo but i just heard on PBS about hogans for the first time :) how crazy is that.
i never did learn about my ancestars religions just about what i wanted to know about others religions but now i found out that wicca the religion i originally based my religoius beliefs on is quite similliar to navajo and i think i will base my religion on my ancestars religion :) i can honor them and have an ancient religion that is truley my own :) so do you think this is a good idea and also about the hogan? and i just want to clear something up i am only asking your oppinions about this, i do not need you to tell me what i can and connot do but what you have to say will sway my final choice either way but in the end it WILL be up to me. i just wanted to make that clear so that you wont have to tell me that it is up to me, because i already know:)

I was at a bible class and we were intructed to close our eyes and visualize walking up the hill during Jesus speaking the Sermon on the Mount.
We were to ask him any question we wanted when we reached the top of the hill.
When I did this I asked, as suggested by the instructor what He had to tell me.
my vision was that of Jesus turning His head on me.
he looked like He acknowledged me but didn't want to look at me.
Everyone else had tons of stuff Jesus told them.
I feel so strange about this .
please give input.
I would ask you to do the same meditation, but suspect you'd have better results.
ps I believe in Jesus, have faith and am for good.
