The Thai Buddhist temple in North Hollywood on Coldwater Canyon offers Thai language classes for children and adults, native speakers and second language folks.

I took classes at the temple when I was a child. I am now fully literate in Thai at a 10th grade level (though i was born and raised in the States). In college, I continued to take Thai classes, and eventually, I got into translating Thai fiction to English. Very cool. Some of my translations were published.

Speaking of college, you can take classes at UCLA. Try enrolling through UC Extension.

ADDENDUM: btw, "puda" doesn't mean dog. "Maah" with long, rising inflection is dog.

Commercialized faculties most of the time emphasize the belt as a present which makes it fascinating for men and women who do not rather have what it takes to enhance within the martial arts. its additionally some way a college can cost further cash. for the belt, for the scan, for the uniform, and many others. I endorse discovering a health club that does not emphases that and works peculiarly on combating

just go to Thai Restaurants and keep ordering off the menu. Keep listening to what the waiters and waitresses say. Soon you'll start to pick up certain words like "Puda" (means dog). Good luck
