Please help?

Question

Sometimes I see things in my peripheral vision, like someone (a person) passed by but when I turn to face it, there is really nothing there. I'm not so sure if its just my imagination but I guess I want to know if am I really seeing or feeling things from a different dimension? Is it normal?

Fireworks, I can't say that I really believe in ghosts but I have a friend who does. In fact, I had to admit this, but sometimes, I've had that same feeling, peripherally, seeing someone and distinctively FEELING it but turning to face it and there's nothing there. I told her this and she told me that perhaps I was visited by a spirit. Of course, I listened to her but I was thinking, wow, she's crazy. But...I'm not so sure. So, she belonged to this group that met, spiritually. Some of them were gifted to see these spirits. I know this might sound crazy but they went around the room and "saw" these spirits, which were normally spirits of someone that person knew. For me, the woman was seeing my aunt who had just recently passed and told me that everything was okay and for me to stop worrying about her.

The English word "spirit" comes from the Latin spiritus, meaning breath.

I know that these "spiritual" sightings can be a lot of hogwash but you know, I have to say that I do believe it is possible. I was frightened by this when it first began to happen but I really believe that what you see is not imagined. I'm serious. I still see them (not as often as before) but I think I am no longer afraid since my friend had me go to one of those meetings.

Yes, I think it's normal. I also think people will not admit they see it too. Honestly, I won't admit it either. Just here....because I think only a few close to you will believe you. I do have another friend who believes in ghost. So does my husband. I don't admit it with them because - I think I'm too scared to open up the realization that this can be true and I'll be seeing them all the time.

I think if I didn't watch scary movies so often, I would be afraid of these spirits. :)

My wife saw a person in her peripheral vision as we drove home tonight. It looked like he was hiding behind a car, but when she turned to see what he was doing - he wasn't there! I do know that our peripheral vision may be more keen that our normal vision in some ways. For example, if you look at stars at night, dim ones look brighter if you don't look straight at them. And I've been researching the paranormal and most people see ghosts first peripherally - then the ghosts seem to vanish when they look straight at them. You are experiencing a common phenomena, but there doesn't seem to be any clear answers for it yet.

yes this is normal.i dont know exactly what you would call this but i myself had this encounter b4.i was sitting here at my computer desk typing here on yahoo answers and listening to one of my Pagan cds on the windows media player,when all of a sudden i felt like someone was standing by me looking at the monitor while the song was playing.i quickly turned my head in the direction it was in and seen nothing.And i know that i felt something beside me and automatically after the encounter i figured out that it was a spirit.that the song was what made it stay there beside me.i have had more than just this time experiancing stuff like this.this is just one of the few.

the mind is a very powerful thing. sometimes it could be your imagination. but then sometimes, it's not, and you have that gut feeling it's not. this happens to me sometimes. do you believe in ghosts/spirits? that is the only answer i can give u. it was probably a spirit of somebody you knew, just dropping by to check on you...

You're probably just picking up loose forms of energy, you should attune your sensitivity for whatever you're striving for.
