I'm not in Ohio, but I definitely have an opinion.

The government has NO right to force private institutions to do anything. Yes, smoking is bad for your health. But so is doing a million other things that are perfectly legal- you make the decision when you go into a bar that has smoking allowed. You take the risk of second hand smoke. If you don't want it, don't go.

I, for one, hate smoking and would never do it, nor do I want to be around it (expensive, stinky, stupid, etc.), but I respect the rights of everyone to do what they want with something they OWN.

Its right, smoking will harm a lot of people, not only the smoker himself but also those people around them, they will also will inhale the smoke.
The government is right to ban no smoking in public,no offense but why allow these kind of harm to continue.Smokers also will have incentive to quit now.Its better.isn't?

No, from California where we have such a ban. I think it's good since otheres who do not like smoking or have bad reactions to the smoke should not be subjected to it

I think its total BS. I don't smoke cigs anymore, but I do smoke other kinds of tobacco. Smokers have rights too. What the heck is the government coming to???

I'm in Ohio and voted for the ban.

Second hand smoke is a very real concern for customers AND employees.
